Thanks, the grass textures are from ISI rf2 tracks. the good looking is shaders tweaks (vertex color and alpha). I use the old textures for the alpha mask.

Just tried this track out and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice work!

It is a blast in the Skip Barber with all those hairpins and sweeping corners and the textures and FPS are very good too.

Awesome track! A few weeks ago my cousin and I set up our wheels side by side and ran this circuit for about four hours, good times.

I ran some laps here today in the BT20. Wow. Just plain wow. Amazing work- in a couple sections when you go downhill you managed (somehow) to capture the feeling of falling and captured just how steep it is. Other versions don't capture that same effect.

The only problem I saw was some shadow problems where tree shadows (I was driving at 18.00 track time) seemed to chase me around a few corners and it got really weird.

    Some Statistics:
    Lienz track downloads: 1185

    Donations: 6

Conclusion: not worth trying to do something well for free.

I understand Mario feeling, he made a great work, and tons of guys (pretty sure more than 1185) enjoy it. Life is kind of complex for me right now, but be sure as soon as I can I'll donate for sure.

Another bug with Lienz- I think this is related to the shadows issue. Headlights don't work at night. they work on pit road but then once you get on track, they do not illuminate anything.

It's OK. I just turn shadows down and race in the daytime at Lienz. Easy work around.

Regarding donations, I believe it is useful for people to know who expects donations and who doesn't. Take the Essington face lift, for example. For me personally, face lifts are almost entirely arbitrary as I don't care about graphics as long as a track has good performance and I can see the track limits clearly with enough trackside objects for brake markers. Immersion for me personally is almost 100% about feel and physics detail. Despite this, I was one of the most vocal supporters of the Essington face lift. Why? First, I was applauding what I believed was a legendary act of generosity, teamwork, competence, quality and reverence for Essington. Second, I know that graphics are important to others and I expected the enhanced appearance of and attention being paid to Essington would amount to more people discovering and being able to appreciate this excellent track. To be honest, I sometimes prefer uglier tracks if they perform better. Facelifts can mean performance decreases for me and others who would otherwise be racing the track online but won't b/c performance reasons.

I feel let down because the Essington facelift was so exciting for me but no longer.

    :(
