I only race BTCC without push to pass, F1 cars without DRS, so I wont miss anythingThe cars may get scalped into rF2, and perhaps the tracks, but the tech? l
Likely not. You won't get the Hybrid systems etc.
Everything is very bad. This is an unfinished mod for r factor 2.
Anyone have TrackIR working?
It is an early access so things will improve for sure!
Concerning the FFB I did think that it would be like in rF2 but maybe they want to attract a wider audience and make the FFB more like ACC for example??
Has reset VR view been sorted?
For me, if I can run a full season at 100% length including an actual 24Hr race that obviously can be saved without jumping through hoops, with official cars it's totally worth it.
I don't know about that, I feel like rF2 FFB has the potential to be very noob friendly when dialed in to be realistic. The current state of LMU FFB would probably just frustrate new players. I really hope they improve it, otherwise I have very little reason to even play LMU over rF2.
the FFB in rfactor 2 is stronger, I use 35% in both LUM and rF2, an rF2 is stronger, feels better.
at 35% with a simucube 2 clip there is no clipA stronger FFB is generally not "better" though. A stronger FFB means you are more likely to experience clipping. You should tune car-specific FFB strength so that FFB signal reaches maximum/red with peak forces in high-speed corners. Most sims used to default to too strong FFB to make it feel "better" on weak wheels like the G29. It's good that they are moving away from it as those with weaker wheels are free to bump up the force (and get clipping) if they want to.
