it's the little things man. It's been too quiet as of late around here. I felt things have been slowing down, Tim says otherwise. I just hope the pace picks up is all..

So you are using build 146 and there was mention of build 152 was it? so that is 6 builds that have been internally tested in a few weeks...doesn't sound like it's on the back burner when you look at it that way. I am involved as an internal tester for another sim related program and know that often devs change or fix one thing to find during internal tests that it has broken something else, this is the purpose of internal tests.

So I am sure they are all beavering away getting the next public build ready for release with some old problems fixed and with no new problems that we will all complain about if we find them.

The other team I work with are fast, but now and then some minor looking bug takes them a couple of weeks to solve, this is on a much less complex piece of code, so it is no surprise that rF2 is taking time to get from one release to the next.

I don't even get excited or anticipate new builds anymore since they never address performance or the major problems. Maybe one day they will surprise us. ;-)

The code guys tend to work independent of the content guys. Sometimes they matched up in the past, but I think this will happen less from now on. So content will come whenever ready. I am assuming you will get content before the next update of some sort.

"2 new rF2 build configurations given to internal testers. One is more than 1.9 GB and the other is less than 300 MB. We will see how it goes"

    Please go well :)

Seems that new builds come end of each month, so (& if ) that's towards end of next week

Fingers crossed will include some older but updated content too

    Oh well...next week then :p

Though we do not need a new build to have updated content?

No, you don't need a new build to get content (unless the content is reliant on newly added code, like the Marussia requires B156 and nothing lower).
