No, tjc, check first page. It's 0.432 and it is an update, install the 43 first then update the car (vehicle), not the main file, with the .0432 file you added into packages folder.
Ahh right. Thanks jim. I should have checked the first page before posting really. Anyway, I appreciate the info.
Got a bit of time to work on Fixing LOD PBS and black screen flickering... Black screens seems to be fixed (thanks HAZI)... I just change warning led's lightglare shader to T1 and no more Black screen... I will try to repack all... then will trow a testing 0.44 released to see feedback.... If positive feedback I will try to re export all cars from max... Any Help on Physic will be really cool...(motor, aero, etc etc) TTYL
Yes, this mod was one of the original greats for RF1 and still is. I think the fact the all cars had the same sense of effort put into them, regardless of how unpopular the car may have been, may be part of what made the mod so great. You can really feel the quality and effort in every car. Apart from that, you can really feel the difference in every car in terms of physics, sounds, graphics, cockpit, etc. The fact that there was a track pack pretty much made for this mod, I feel, played a huge part in it's popularity as well. A track pack along with a carpack is basically a game on it's own. We don't even need a new GP79 track pack, simply ported the original ones to RF2 would be good enough for now, I'm sure people can and will update them further over time, but just the basic track with the basics like realroad, etc. would be good enough for now as a starting point.
ohh my lovely Brabham-Alfa The 79 MOD was a great step for rf1, as F1 88, because both provided cars and tracks used for other MODs, as the Group-c cars.
Hello, I need testers. Mainly Nvidia Graphcard user to test if Tyrrell black screen has been completly FIX... So PM me... Cheers, Arnao
Thanks a lot guys, So as already said in PM I will have to hold release till Zonder did his finals touch on Tyrrell cockpit. Any suggestion or help will be welcome... I got now a fully workable ModDev *.rar package for any Physics Guru that would want to Help...(Sorry Navigator to not have done this before) Keep in mind that This Old ladyes are conversion from RF1 that was already conversions from F1 challenge 99. There is a lot to Improve.... The High level of Zonder's Cockpits details still amaze me... Cheers, Arnao
Maybe... and I say maybe, it could be possible to make a fundraising campaign to help finish this mod. I'm one of those that bought RF1 just to play this mod, and I would really like to be able to see it shine under RF2. So I'm sure there is a lot of love for these cars and their romantic memories, maybe enough to bring some cash to let experienced people make a good work on it.
Maybe... One day Reysa will bring to US an rfactor2 based sims with GP79 cars... Just saying that because of main Physics guy for RF1 version was Renato Simioni, boss or one of the boss of REIZA studio.
