[REL] GP3 SERIES 2016/2017/2018 2.31

Anyone have a feeling that rain lights are a bit weak on these cars ?
i tried to search some youtube videos to have a look at rain lights but didn't find anything.
I'll check them, sincerely I didn't care too much at them, but now we are closed to the last new build of the mod, it is the right moment.

Yes mate please just load Nola with storm condition and check the lights.
its like they dont even on
you have to go really super close to be able to see lights blinking

At least with them being that dark you know you're close to the guy ahead. Granted, chances are you've hit him/her (because Tatiana Calderon) becuase you've seen it too late...

In the packages of the rf2 Launcher i have twice GP3 mod ticked ( the V 2.01 and V 2.15 ).
An idea ?

When i unsuscribe via Steam, the V 2.15 disappear, but the V2.01 is always here...

Edit : same prob with other MODs so..... the problem is somewhere else .

I confirm isn't a mod issue... But if it can be of help is an interesting discussion. Because it happened to me something of similar a couple of times with different mods and I would like to know the reason.
In details what I note when it happens is that every time I load rFactor2, when launcher starts, I see the same mod/mods no longer available and again installing. To be clear, if I close rFactor2 and then I again load the launcher, again I see the mod installing... And obviously the mod is not listed and available into rFactor2.
To fix it I found only a way... I manually delete the mod into steam folders, cache, etc. Unsub it, reload rFactor2 without the mod and close it. Sub it and it finally has downloaded and installed and works. I suppose it is something related to a corrupted process in downloading the mod and its info into steam folders...
 
@Slow Motion sorry for the dumb question...once the Endurance Pack added working light plates do you think is worth implementing them on your mod?
I mean, maybe those still not work as intended but could be a nice touch.

Position led doesn't make sense at all! GP3 is not a fictional mod... I added refueling (also if doesn't make sense at all too!) because is something not visible and that could be useful in some case for leagues needs...
Now what we did is to simulate the DRS panel (default option in upgrade), that decreases from 6 to 0 in about 40 minutes and I think it is much better than displaying the position into a DRS panel!
IRL, GP3 (and I think in the near future also other OW cars) uses the led panel for DRS... maybe this feature will be integrated with position in race using different led color, no idea atm. Then we'll see what S397 will do.
I was thinking to post just today, into another thread, the position led as option... and you posted here, LOL!!

When this happens usually means there is a race event using the mod so the game wont remove it if you dont uninstall the race event first. You can manually delete it tho

It can be, yes. But I spoke, not clearly of course, when it happens due to the steam failure... In fact running the verify of the files, steam download always some files of the mod and you can see also a temporary file into the download folder of the game installed, in this case rFactor2. Now I'm not at the pc and I do not remember names of the files.
Maybe this is a different case than the one posted
 
Great work, its a really nice mod!

The panel for position is used in Indycar. Personally I dont't think its necessary in a single class race. One interesting feature they have is when the driver stall the engine, the display shows an X :D.

In 2018 car, when someone goes exit(for race), the game is frozen. 2016 and 2017 are good. Interesting :O
