I have been there for 7 years. I don't often have this feeling, this motivation to push even harder and go to the limit like I do with this Porsche 904! A super lightweight that is absolutely snappy! This Porsche 904 is the Manny Pacquiao of motorsport! I am absolutely fascinated by this mod and especially this car!
I can't say it any other way than "I love this Sim". These dream cars have really struck a chord with me! The 300SL is a tough challenge that doesn't forgive mistakes. It took me a long time to find the right setup. Very demanding car, especially the fights with the beefy V8 were a great experience! Simply a fantastic sim! A small cross comparsion:
She drives like she looks. Like a dream. That's not driving, that's dancing in symphony. It's as if I discuss every step with her in detail before we take the next corner together. A partnership at eye level. We both know where our limits lie. This is the Ferrari GTO. This mod is truly a masterpiece, and ambitious studios should consider taking a close look at the modder responsible for this physics. I can't and don't want to say any more about it.
This mod blows me away every time. This Austin Healy is just incredible to drive, Simon is a magician when it comes to physics in rFactor2. This car is my current favourite car!
The 300SL Gullwing. (Porsche Cup... pff, try that one...) Legendary, but a tough nut to crack! A damn tough one. I managed 20 minutes on Sebring at 110%. (After countless attempts) If you get under 2:24:xxx with this car at Sebring, congratulations! You are a world class driver! A little tip: Max out the rear toe!
Honestly friends, SSSimon has risen like the Phoenix from the ashes. Suddenly he's here and presents us with content that's absolutely S397 level on the physics side! Incredibly good work. But what makes a good mod? When I instinctively know what I have to do and feel when and where the limit is. In this mod, that's the case with every single vehicle. Am I exaggerating? Now do a countercheck on YouTube with various RL onboard videos. Then you'll see what I mean. My utmost respect and thanks go to you Simon! Goodwood has also turned out beautifully. Oh yes, the C2 is bombastic to drive, the sound is top! Yes, dear Simon, you've set the bar very high for yourself, how are you going to top that? I'm curious!
Another fantastic GT Revival car! I love them all, simply all of them. I think this mod is now officially my absolute No.1. It's just unbelievable how clean, smooth and natural the exact detailed inputs from the FFB allow me to drive this car through the corners. It's really beautiful. rFactor2 is beautiful.
The Corvette C3 Stingray L88. If you can master it, the almost perfect weapon on the track. However, it has one weak point: its brakes! It has to bring its almost 1.5 tonnes around the bends with completely overtaxed brakes. On the straights, however, it destroys everything! A ride on a knife edge. Perfect for all adventurers looking for interaction with their vehicle. I love this car! #rfactor2 #simracing #corvettec3
2 Litre Cup - Porsche 911 SWB by SSSimon: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3063712157 Track by Andrea1968: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3036161174&searchtext=leipzig I'm telling you, this little Porsche is really a tough nut to crack! Is a 2:02:495 the non plus ultra on the Porsche Ring in Leipzig? I don't know, you show me! The little Golf, a biting wolf! A FWD, so very sensitive when it comes to the front tyres. Very, because any too much throttle input when accelerating out of a bend is immediately and painfully penalised. The tyres degrade faster than my modest physical condition at the age of 43 when I play football with my boys. The motto with this vehicle is to approach everything as calmly and gently as possible, lift the accelerator a little at the entrance to the bend to let the rear end come in. What do you do when a FWD starts to oversteer? Right, you accelerate so that the FWD manoeuvres you in the desired direction. So at the entrance to the bend, lift up sharply to let the rear end come in to prepare for the entrance to the bend and then accelerate very slightly. Sounds simple, doesn't it? But it's not at all. In addition, you have to be very keen to change gear, as the little one has 6 gears. It's great fun, but at times it can also be very tricky to find the right timing. It takes a lot of practice to drive the little one at the limit. It's amazing how much the little one inspires me with its 193 bhp and 920 kg. A really great challenge on small tracks. FWD cars really are a world of their own that needs to be mastered first. Very difficult to drive, but never demotivating. Great work, as always Tamas!
