I just noticed you can see some dirt looking in the windscreen, just cant see it looking out View attachment 5954
 
Mod doesn't show up in download manager. Have all the ISI mods installed, show mods only disabled. No corvette file in manifests folder either.

Never had any problems with installing rfcmp's, only this one is faulty.

Funny, just found a solution. I restarted mod manager, and before I unchecked "show mods only" I was able to see the corvette package. Strangely if i unchecked show mods only filter, the corvette disappeared. So i went back to show mods only mode, and installed corvette.

Since then the glitch disappeared, and corvette only shows up in the unfiltered list.
 
When "Show Mods Only" is unchecked it`s there in the list as:

ISI_Corvette_C6R_GT2

When "Show Mods Only" is checked it doesn`t show up in the list.
 
Nice car with nice sounds. Overall feelings are positive but I don't like how rear wheels block during braking.

But this is noticable in all cars on rf2, I hope to see some improvements in this area in the future.

Can't you just adjust the brake bias and/or the braking force?

Of course I can and that's what I did. But I still don't feel comfortable with the car when I block rear wheels. IMHO reaction should be more delicate and smooth.

I will try to find some good settings, maybe it'll help :)

Me too; can't install.......

It "installed" the first time, than it went out of the screen to the bottom into the section where the mods stand that can't be installed.
When I click "properties", it says that it can't install because the car is not installed......say WHAT??!!

Strange. I downloaded 3 times, but it still wouldnt show with "show mods only" unchecked, so I tried your way and sure enough there it is.

What is a Multi cmp?
Why does a component file show up in this list?
Why does the file disappear from that list after install (and show up in the component list splitted into three components)?

If you uninstall the components of the mod the "install file" is not visible. You have to delete the manifest (rFactor2DataFolder\Manifests\isi_corvette_c6r_gt2_2009_102.mft) first.

Are your brakes cold or warm when you are getting the blocking of the tires? Cold brakes should normally "grab" until they are warmed up, then they will be more smooth and consistent.
 
I should be more precise with expressing my self :)

I'm not saying that rear wheels are too easy to block. I was thinking about car behaviour when it already happens.

Nice one, thanks. Now I can see the file again as I uninstall it with your last lines.
But the problem stays the same sadly; install.......it's gone!
 
Audio and visuals very impressive. I will reserve judgement on handing until the update because driving anything over 90% attack = huge slide or a swapping of ends.
 
Excellent job, ISI. Thanks for this. Only observation is that (surprise) I hate the tire sounds. Please for the love of God make them chirp or squeal or something other than sandpaper. Many thanks in advance ;0)

A multi cmp is a collection of components, it's just a way to deliver multiple components in a single package. It shows up on the Mod side of the manager because it is similar to a Mod, just has no rFM file so it is not a drivable mod. There is currently a bug in the modmgr which causes multi cmps to disappear from the modmgr after being installed. This is fixed in the next sim update.
