All I'm asking is for recognition of the bug. Is it a bug they're looking into? So far every post about this bug has not even been acknowledged. I honestly don't think this is too much to ask
Thank you for that. If Jeremy or any of the development team has any suggestions or modifications I could try making to the mod, I'll gladly test anything that's suggested
Is this a bug I have my doubts ,If you read the "known issues" file, there are some issues with non-standard GMT files being written which are no convertible ?
That's where I was headed with if it happens to the ISI cars. Could be the car parts with the issues might need to be exported again with the new plugins.
Doubt, why one loading method (adding AI when in practice) will always work fine and the other way (from Race Settings) sometimes fail sometimes is fine (tested and confirmed multiple times)? Look like a bug to me. If GMT format is also one of this cause (not the only one, pretty sure), ISI should at least IMHO manage old and new GMT format for a while, giving sometimes for modders to modify what they created... If this problem is not solved quickly I'll downgrade to B660. I'm patient, B660 was pretty fine for me, so no problem to wait for a while
I have still my Doubt`s, I have most of the ISI and third party mods and this happens only with MIATA mods, all other mods runs fine with my game.
I've made another mod that uses GMT meshes exported from the same version of 3DSimED, which doesn't exhibit this behavior. I'm not saying it's not something goofy in the mod, but I don't think it's the actual GMT version.
Yeah, probably a combination of several factors: something in the mod, something in one of the rF2 car loading routine, plus the gmt changes. ISI seems to investigate on this, let's be patient BTW and kind of OT as tested with several cars including F3 Eve and Miata: Neva Ring also crash when I select another weather than Sunny one, and if I select Sunny one, weird reflection appear on track like if road was wet. Could be linked to gmt changes (assuming tracks use gmt?).
Just for info: Fresh 770 installation, 64bit exe, BES mod, ISI Malaysia. No issues whatsoever, no problems with gmt, thank god (or ISI)
Hope we see a fix soon. I always give ISI the benefit because I know how hard they work and how difficult it is to code without unforeseen error but........ BTW, Plick, I am going to need that Mini mod for testing?
