After upgrade to version 101, we have big problems with lag, with disappearance and reappearance of the cars. I installed the full 101 on all our servers, to be sure that our server will be ok, we tried to run on other servers with the same results. From my PC, I did the test Control-C to be full green bar, to be the purple one third of fullness. This data I looked at the time of Lag. I looked at the data on the server when you start and do not seem to suffers drops in FPS or Rate, with 20 players I Rate 35% 9% 'll Check again if there are any performance degradation to the start of the next races. Edit: after other procedures start. I can say that the FPS varies from very little frames 3/4 (402-397) and the frame remains unchanged 35% 9% These data have been read at real time lag,as it was connected on TS3,with a Admin server. Yes i got the same problem while i wanted to test clio with the latest build 101. Car was disappearing then re-appear constantly, hope to see this bug fixed. Thanks ! Still enjoying rfactor2

I never saw so much lag in rFactor2 (22 drivers race)... and since yesterday I cant see any servers in my server list
Got same trouble. I can see all cars around me on the grid but as soon as the race starts they all disappear and I can see some of them one lap later and they appear and disappear till a large part of the grid has crashed...
I can confirm that I had the same problem as above. It's very frustrating and pity really as all the fun is gone Hope it is solved soon Cheers
You can try to set higher values in mulitplayer.ini Net Connection Type="4" // 0=28k, 1=56k, 2=ISDN, 3=128kbps cable/dsl 4=256kbps cable/dsl, 5=LAN, 6=custom Upstream Rated KBPS="256" // Rated uploading speed of connection, in kilobits per second Downstream Rated KBPS="256" // Rated downloading speed of connection, in kilobits per second i think the default was 1 / 56k after i changed to 4 /256k - i had no lags after that change but raced only twice so not sure if thats the case

Try this: Start your dedicated server from within the core. when it starts...open taskmanager Find the dedicated.exe (rFactor2dedicated.exe*32) right click on it...and set infinity Make sure that there is ONLY 1 core checked...If there is more than 1...remove them and select just 1 close the taskmanager DO not STOP the server window for rFactor2 Select your settings...and DROP IT DOWN to the tray...do not leave it open on the desktop. What this does: Stops Sync errors stops High CPU ussage Drops pings We have some other tricks...but I think we will keep those to ourselves.... This should fix the above issues posted Dave
I have the same issue, alltough i can't tell that it only happens with a certain amount of players or not. It's absolutly not playable online at the moment, cars disappear and reappear totally random. FPS and ping are fine at the moment of the problem. Please ISI, fix this asap, otherwise the new build seems to be a good step forward to me.
