The default setting of the mod brings to you the direct experience and knowledge of these guys and I must say I learned a lot of things about the secrets of this little endurance prototype. And improvement, tuning of the real car will go ahead, so we'll do same, privately, for comparison tests and a day we'll release a new build. I know, this is a niche mod, but try it and you will be rapt by this car... fuel tank is very capacious and I hope some league will organise an endurance race with the MR1. The mod has also an option in the showroom/tuning for "Scratchable vs. Detachable Items", because currently is not yet possible to have a detachable item that shows also scratches. It means if you want all scratchable items in case of accident, they are no longer detachable. I hope to fix it as Studio 397 will go ahead in the development of this feature and all other exciting ones... on "rain" side, also if the mod has the wiper working, it is not yet updated to the "rain drops" effect. About the development, I must thank more than usual my friend Chris "redapg", because he modeled by scratch, only looking at the pictures of the car, the 90% of the mod. He also added specific options for the Motec Night Illumination. Below detailed credits: Build 1.0 optimized FOR DX11 POSTFX - real data from Frederico Mol, owner of MR1 and Enzo Brocker, Metalmoro - testers (real car): Frederico Mol & Milton Santos, Milton Santos Motorsports - default setup by Milton Santos, Milton Santos Motorsports - main 3D and 2D by Chris "redapg" - 2D by Slow Motion - Physics by Slow Motion with the help of Online Tools by Chris "redapg" - Suspension Geometry by Nicola Acciarri - Liveries by Boxer, Chris “Brack Jabham”, LcR, Slow Motion - First original version for rF1 by Pigue3D and 500_695 Abarth RFE 1.0 by Slow Motion RFE & Nicola Acciarri RFE. Thanks to the rF2 community and some guys for helping in research and test! ======================================================= ======================================================= Yes! We are developing this car as a stand alone mod also if coming from a branch of the Fiat 500 Abarth… It is a prototype, or a GT car that races the "Endurance Brasil". The manufacturer, Metalmoro, didn’t answer to my several emails (no one answer, literally… at least a basic level of civility would be been appreciated…), so I have got only few data and pictures, BUT Chris “redapg” modeled in an excellent way this very nice and intriguing car!! For skins the idea is that our painting team will create several liveries in different colors of the official factory car, plus the “GT” livery that you can find in the web AND few more liveries that match special themes, like “sea life”, “wild earth” and “deep space”… If someone that lives in Brazil wants be of help for trying again to communicate with the manufacturer, please PM me. Thank you
Sent a message to Enzo in the Mulsanne Corner group (closed group, if you are part of it you can see) https://www.facebook.com/groups/185...0155236654394099&comment_tracking={"tn":"R0"} Hopefully he'll answer
Thanks Slowmo for this!when I posted the pic in the other thread I wasn't expecting you guys will start the project! This 500 is a little beast suited for endurance racing, I am sure will be a blast to drive as your previous models!
Now I would spend few words about the physics... as I said we have found very few data and, also developing the mod with the right physical measurements that we know and that we were able to take looking at the pictures, geometry, etc.., unfortunately we have no real feedback, nor lap time on known tracks. The mod is very very well balanced, easy to be recovered, nice to be driven (but being careful to the power), no issues with aero, only a big question mark about the mechanical grip. I already asked if someone has more info about the real car or a way to contact who can have info: @Will Mazeo posted, but I didn't have any further info... I was thinking to enlarge to interested guys some tests for a feedback and preference about the mechanical grip: if someone is interested, please PM me and asap there will be a beta for tests. Thank you.
I only contacted the guy that works with them tho, sent him another message and he said he had forgot it but will add to his to do list of the week.
No answer by anybody of them... above post shows only the livery of the #31 We are only doing last tuning and painting fantasy liveries, like this below, then the mod is ready...
Don't you have a Facebook account? Would be better if you got in touch with the guy from the link above. Just join the Mulsanne Corner's group
on my side I haven't any reserved address, but I wrote several times to the public email: metalmoro@metalmoro.com.br
We are at RC... A quick update of the latest main additions: added central mirror monitor with working illumination (to be selected into showroom) several parts like sills, fenders, bumpers... are now detachable several WC materials for a full tuning (list will follow) fully working wiper
Hi SlowMotion, i am the owner of the MR1 now. Let me know of any tech info you need in order to have a more detailed as possible model of the car. Recently i made some simulations of the rear wing, and now i have the drag and downforce vs speed curves. Cheers!
Thank you very much Gui! The endurance Brasil replica is already into the liveries as number 31, shown few posts above. @Frederico I'm not at home until tomorrow evening, then I'll be very excited to share with you what we made and yes!! You will be of great help for developing a mod closed to the real car. Of course guys here we'll must wait for few more time, but I'm sure the time will be spent in a good way.
No problem at all,I hope you can have better pics of the car and maybe a DWG file of it, actual model shapes are very similar to the actual one but if we can have the same detail of GP3...
