Is that like an extreme motorsports picture where you are trying to do a special move while in the air? ;)

This needs more work from ISI. The fog is everywhere yet we have shadows like early morning sun is shining.

I guess you have never been around California in the foggy areas. There have been quite a number of times where there was light fog everywhere, but the sun was shining above and the shadows were visible. It all depends on the density of the fog. Judging from the bottom picture, the fog is light enough to let light come through.

    +1

Obviously never been to Caithness either lol where I`ve seen it pour rain with the sun shining...

Don`t know where your from Jux but as Gearjammer has said, there are many, many times that I`ve seen light fog covering a large area but shards of sunlight coming through too.

It might need tweaked but ISI don`t have to "work" on anything imo as this is quite realistic.

100m visibility is quite thick, granted, but l`ve still seen the sunlight break through even if the fogs that thick you can`t see your finger in front of your face...

OK, I believe thick fog and bright sun is possible. But still directional light would be very diffused in this case, makes shadows more blot than sharp shape.

Another case is, that such generating such conditions artificially (for gaming) may be really hard.

That's just the way shadows are made in games. Blurring shadows is far more complicated than blurring anything else.
