So what ? You figured out that was the case but posted illegal rips beforehand anyhow Sorry was not born yesterday. Why is this crap still up ? delete it admin You break your own rules.
Dude wtf is wrong with you can you read?!?! I didn't post any rips to anything and this is NOT my track! I brought it to S. Victor's attention because I felt he needed to know what was going on, and that someone out there is posting unauthorized rips of the track. I brought the issue to S. Victor's attention and because of that he brought it to Jim's attention and Jim has now clarified that the conversion was done without permission, so mission accomplished! The link in the video "A Casual Racer" uploaded has been deleted. It would have still been up had I not told him that the track was done without permission. Do your research next time dude!
I think they just mean the videos showing the rip are still showed in your post, and don't need an extra publicity We got the end of the mystery about permissions, so that is good for all involved.
Svictor, would it be possible to add moving cows and / or horses to the track, like in Belgium 1966 ?
Thanks for your suggestion, but that would not be possible at the moment. The reason is that both cow & horse (3d model) are far more complex than birds, which is not possible to create efficient 3D animation without commercial software (the workaround method that I used for 3D bird is only suitable for simple object with low polygons). Since I only use open source software (blender) for 3D modding, those software has not official plugin to create required 3D animation. Also note that all original track assets and new enhancements from this conversion were created by Jim and me from scratch, which we would not use 3rd party assets from the beginning (same with Isle of man conversion). This is also the reason why both tracks don't have some of the RF2 standards features such as 3D marshals. It's not that we don't want to add those fancy goodies, but it's simply a limitation in the modding system that prevent open source software from creating proper 3D animation that specifically required by RF2.
Just make the cows skate around the scenery at some distance... if they are not in the same position from one lap to the other, that should be enough :-D
Wierd ? To post a photo, video or anything else links to anywhere gives you access to a rip is the oldest trick in the book ! wake up !
Typical comeback, accuse someone without a shred of proof. I would never do something like that any sim.
