Great to see the move to 64bit, was quite annoying getting CTD due to RAM limitations on some tracks with larger fields when I have a 6GB Titan and 32GB of Ram. Nearly everyone's computer and OS will be 64 bit these days and 8GB+ Ram is also quite common, I was surprised how so few applications...
I noticed this issue quite a bit when running SLI GTX 480 with only 1.5GB each I think but cant remember. Would have perfect smooth frames no matter how many cars but some tracks would just crawl with mirrors on, I put it down to the lower GPU memory and just dealt with it. Since I got a Titan...
I dont think you could possibly call Albert park fully green as its a public road used by thousands of cars every day, sure its not race tyres and also not on the racing line but it wouldnt be all that dirty would be quite similar to Monaco. Would be interesting to see how much progression there...
Light rubber is much better then starting green or even a realistic type of rubber level, though atm most servers seem to have save last session or preset at dragstrip ;)
Starting on fully green really isnt realistic as Luke says in that thread and is commonly understood but there is no need to...
Exactly agree guy and a slider for RR speed from 100% sim to a much higher rate would be welcome. The issue I see with the entire track getting rubbered in is at the accelerated rate anywhere any car drives will get a big chunk of rubber. There is obviously a max limit to how much rubber can go...
You dont see a fully green track very often but it is a heck of a lot more likely then the condition of the majority of online tracks. Fully green is still quite driveable at a slower pace, if not then its back to the physics themselves if you feel that you need to drive only on pure rubber...
The main point of real road I assume and its great benefit to a sim is to learn to drive a car on an ever changing track, add this with fuel load and tyre wear even at the accelerated rate of RR is a pretty good experiance. It just seems most people are purely hotlappers that only learn to drive...
Dont get me wrong I think this is or should i say will be the best feature of RF2, my biggest gripe with it is when racing online and the crazy rate at which it is implemented. Why does every track resemble the start line of a drag strip? This is on nearly all servers and also including the ISI...
I still have hopes for RF2 but I think AC has raised the bar in sims mostly physics handling wise but graphics arent too shaby either and quite a way ahead of RF2 I think.
Motion blur I dont need when driving but it looks a little cooler in replays, RF2 can look great at times but then...
I think this is a limitation of a 32 bit program, I have a GTX Titan 6GB and 32GB system ram and on max settings I need to reduce AI numbers on some tracks to avoid CTD. The game runs fine at 2560x1440 but if I add 1 too many AI the track wont load but keeping the number down which at some...
Like I said I prefer it one way after having tried both, you like it your way and cant see why anyone would do it differently. It doesn't bother me if others do it my way or any other way we can all do what we prefer, it also doesn't matter how the software is set by default as long as there are...
I'm not saying there is no difference at all (though its very minimal to me) between sync on and off. I prefer a rock solid 2560x1440 @60hz compared to higher rates and tearing. I dont have a 120hz screen and was between a good hi res pro monitor, High colour accuracy not as in pro gamer...
I prefer smooth over tearing and stuttery video any day, also your screen wont render any faster then your refresh rate so any fps above that causes tearing as the frames arent synced. But 120fps on a 60hz screen still only draws 60fps so your not going to see any more frames no matter what you...
I didnt really take it down another path but comments such as those quoted above you and not all even aimed at me I see little point in. Debate on the basic issue is fine and thats welcome people will have their own opinions but whats the point of discussions if it takes this path and its even...

I have asked for this thread to be closed as its turned into a joke, continued discussion on the topic can go on in another thread but I am completely done with this forum.
The attitude here is terrible and I am so sorry for embarrassing someone by showing how bad he drove, if he showed...
