was thinking of upgrading my GT3RS wheel to the CWS + the formula rim bur this thread has me concerned ----- don't think I would be happy spending 600 Euros and end up with a rattle wheel
So I would not mind it was only for a few seconds - the fact is, the FPS stay low for the whole race - they never recover.
Found another thing today which again may help track the bug down.... If when I start the race I have low FPS (drop of 5 to 13) and then I jump into another car for half...
I'll try that but given the plugins are working once I restart I don't think it can be the actual plugin
I'm only running FANLED's in addition to the ones that come with the install - however I had this problem before adding FANLEDs
Here ia one at Mills in the F3 - in this buiild its even more
you can see the plugins loading - but the FPS never recover ans remain low for the whole race unless I restart
so maybe a plugin thing then???
Hi
this problem has been there in every build so far
I run everything maxed out
if I load up a track
run a bit of practice
go into the race
FPS are 5 to 10 down (only the first time you go into the race)
drive a little down the track
restart the race
FPS back where they normally are...
Indeed outstanding stuff - love your work
If I were to make one recommendation I would say the bottom of the buildings where they meet the ground should be made dirty and the perfect straight line disguised within the texture - just a suggestion :)
indeed that made me smile.....
looks like its not all addon tracks that have this problem - for example
longbeach has it on the transparent textures
Mid-ohio does not and is fine
Put shadow blur onto max - load a track
then go back to you noraml shadow setting
running shadow should be fixed (this happened to me in build 118 and this fixed it for me)
Seems build 125 has enabled some new functionality which means the trees in the add on tracks are no longer rendered correctly
Will there be new releases of these tracks following this build
not sure I can live without Croft and Putnam :)
