The karts are developed by other people so it shouldn't be a factor. I wonder how many kart tracks will come with them, perhaps that's the hold up?
I would agree on the timing limit you're suggesting. But build issues aren't a concern for content makers. Though build changes can be.
That should be pleasant enough especially if it's a pretty track and has at least some minute elevation changes
All physcs engines have their physics displayed to their graphics in different ways, so it's hard to judge physics on just visual graphics, especially when comparing to other engines, but still, the kart physics/behaviour in this video look head and shoulders above anything I have ever seen, and its a 2 or 3 year old video too.
Question is: How much longer must we wait? Having got quite addicted to karting in GSC I can hardly wait to have that with rf2 tech and feel. When I compare the F3 from GSC to the open wheeler experience you get in rf2 it is like night and day. If it is the same with karts we are in for a treat.
Looks predictably useless for actual karting/racing. Would work well in a drag racing for karts variant for those who would be interested in that sort of thing. I wouldn't even use a full-scale drag racing mod or content, but obviously some like it.
What a coincidence, that was weird lol. I can't wait! The few seconds of onboard video didn't look as good as the initial video from a year or 2 ago, I hope he didn't change anything and decide to go slightly less hardcore, I hope it's just all in my head.
