But if the gauge bug is there in game, how do you know Dash Meter Pro is getting correct info? Or is the info there, it's just not being displayed properly in-game?
Yeah it's working fine it's the colors that get screwed up, in the plugin you can see all the information working correctly.
Kool! This has been a big pet peeve of mine. I guess I'll have to modify by dash meter pro to display my tires. ;-)
Wajdi - I did it like nikos1959 does, quote Nikos: 1)Uninstall RF2 and reboot. 2)Delete RF2 folder from ProgramFiles. 3)Fresh install RF2 (build 125) and reboot. 4)Place all ISI content in Packages folder and Install. Reboot. Check everything is ok. 5)Download all needed tracks for non-ISI mods from here http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.ph...-(torrent) in one neat package 6)Place them into your Packages folder (you can skip Brianza as you should have it at 4) and Install all. 7)Download fresh Mauro's mod (as its most commonly used) from here http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.ph...ll-Tracks-vMod place at Packages folder and Install. You'll have to re-configure all your Controller settings - make a new wheel profile etc. There are other slightly more elaborate methods, but this worked for me
Between 2 and 3 I would delete everything from the Data folder, except the packages folder, or you're not really reinstalling the content.
@Tim. Has the tire been tweaked this build? I think it has and have been told I'm crazy. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
I have to say that Skip Barber is really fantastic car, my first impression was very positive but now after few days I'm addicted to that car. No matter of track choice for race, it feels just great.
Even better is not to copy but instead move (cut & paste). It's faster, doesn't need additional space and doesn't fragment hard drive (when moved within the same disk partition of course). Other option could be to leave Packages in rFactor2 folder and delete everything else. However I haven't tried to uninstall rF2 before Packages folder is moved so don't know for sure if uninstallation will leave it be?
I think uninstall leaves the data folder alone completely. I just uninstall from control panel, make sure rf2 folder in program files is gone, delete everything but packages from data dir, reinstall.
It was the Skippy @ LRP that lured me away from rF1 to iRacing, it's great to have that combo in rF2 now that I'm no longer throwing money at iRacing, thanks ISI
If I only raced road, I would do the same, but gotta get my left turn grove on at iRacing though. ;-)
How cool will it be when we have realroad for the left turn events ;-) building up the rubber ectt...
Ok,I deleted every thing except the package folder,I forgot to save the data folder!I restart and I install the new Build(complete and fresh install)!I have thought that I will have to make a new reactivation but strangely after the installation I was able to log in into the game without any reactivation! I think that I gained about 5-10fps so .it was worth it
