Hello Feels3, Do you will correct the trees transparency in yours tracks when we use "transparency AA=1" ? Like all the world I like your circuits, they are the bests we have for rF2, so if you have a little time to fix this ... Thanks for your efforts!!
Strange, because the trees are back to normal for me after installing b228. That's at both Poznan and Croft.
Las build I have transparent problem when I change Anti Aliasing to 8 level. When I change it back to level 2, whick I usually use, the trees are back to normal. This build workin fine for me. I made a test with different AA levels and no transparency problem appears.
Just to add, I'm not using in-game AA but forced through Catalyst. Probably doesn't make any difference though.
I have the transparency problem with build 228, but like you said, if I use AA level 2 or Transparency AA off, it works (maybe level 2 don't use transparency AA ...) it's a good temporary solution ... But with AA level 3 or more the problem still here with last build for me, I tried with the update or a fresh install .
Hi, I know that track needs some small updates, but it looks like ISI still works on engine and if I release update now, there is a chance that I will have to release another update in the future. Maybe not just one. If you can live with current state of this track I prefer to wait when development on rf2 is finished. I mean development on core platform. I don't have on my mind "ongoing development" which means usually for us that product will be constantly improved, I still wait for kind of gold version/1.0. (no matter of how it will be named) So, if you don't mind. I will wait with my updates especially that I'm very busy and have really lot of work to do. You will have Silverstone quite soon so you shouldn't be bored Cheers
I had this problem too. So after reading this thread I tried all possible AA level without success. Then, I get back to my usual value (x4) and remove HDR. The screen was black on track (know bug with FXAA ON) so I turned HDR ON again, and Voila! No more transparent trees! Something about building shader again or something like that?
I have to change vertex alpha channel values in my trees. ISI changed something in the engine and bilboard trees need to have alpha 99.99% AFAIR I have ~ 90%. Sometimes different AA settings helps. You can also try disable AA transparency in your PLR file and set value to 0. (let me know if it works for you) I can fix this quickly but don't want to release to much updates. It will only cause a mess..
I just realized this "problem" by reading on this thread and for me it's really a tiny small insignificant detail which don't prevent me to have tons of fun with your great tracks feels3 Yes it's not perfect, but really I don't care that much and I'll be happy the day you will fix it when you think it's time to release a new version. For me, no rush is needed
