I think that's just an issue on your end, this doesn't happen to me. Are you having issues with other tracks too or just this one? Being repeatable on 3 different computers is odd as your the first to mention this and there are many others using this track with the latest rf2 version and no such issues.
I'll post some screenies today. Maybe re-installing the track would fix it. EDIT: re-installing the track fixed the transparency issue.
Was wondering feels, all those streaks/marks, did you include those in your diffuse and specular of the road texture? Or is this the racegroove showing? I see the white markings on the left are a decal, is that a realroad surface as well?
The white markings are Decals (assuming feels is doing this part according to ISI recommendations). It's not part of realroad, it's a decal that sits 1mm above the road (realroad).
Great track... been driving it as part of shakedown of upcoming endurance series. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/11867-GT-Pre-qual-event-for-the-6-Hour-Race-Sign-up-thread Experienced a 'fall through' just after exit turn 1, on right side of track . . . Hope the images help with locating it. View attachment 7588 View attachment 7589
My teammate an myself had the same problem later in this race. We lose control in turn 5 and fall out of map. I think it is better to build there a virtual wall. Updating picture with 2 new locations: View attachment 7592
Thanks for reporting issues I know that this track needs few small improvements, unfortunately my whole free time I spend on another important project, so I can only ask you, keep your cars on track, at least for now . I'll try to take a look on this ASAP.
Invisible walls in boxes ... Unnecessary sounds inbox (people speaking, cars sounds, ...) (Is there any way to disable them?) tons of fall throughs ... Being a feels3 circuit I expected a nice track, not a buggy one ...
Shot please. Actually I like it Just a few*, and very far of the track. Keep your wheels on road until it's fixed * these are not bugs, but conscious choice. I wanted to reduce amount of drivable surfaces and collision objects to improve performance.
Its funny to hear you claiming a shot to show an invisible wall ... Here you have a video: http://youtu.be/_Dy4ipOykQ4 If you want you can delete trees and visible things to improve perfomance too, but, will not look so good right? If you want to make a high quality circuit you cant do this fail things, If you want to reduce the drivable surface, just put visible protections, the circuit will be still beautiful to see, and good to drive.
It looks like you are driving with reduced details. I use separate objects for collisions so now I know where is the bug. I have to change visgroup for few collision objects. Thanks for report. As for those "fall through" traps. They are really far of the track. It never was a problem for me during tests, but as I said, it will be fixed.
Unnecessary to you but for me it's nice thing as it increases the level of immersion. Makes pit area alive.
Yes indeed. Makes it feel like you're there at an event. Without it feels like you're in a vacuum. Not many tracks/games do this. Infact I only recall one or two other , major letdown as I'd like all tracks to have this.
Hi feels3, just a short request: is there a specific reason why you don't use zoom-in and zoom-out in you TV-Cams? Or isn't it available in rF2, yet? The replays would look much better and you would need as less as half of cams.
I for one am not too fond of the car sounds in the pits. Sounds like my dad's old David Brown tractor
