I can confirm I get the same bugs as fireguard1. Tested with 'All Cars and tracks mod' I get the bug, but seems fine with other mods such as 'ISR Clio all tracks'. Works fine in 'List view' without bug (Option at top of page).
Tim, me too, I am getting the same problem when selecting Mills tracks. I uninstalled all previous traces as I do at each new build, and installed a complete full install of 107.
Just out of curiosity Tim am I right in thinking the above? I`m thinking yes as I`m sure you`d have said otherwise if not but would like it confirmed just so I (and others) know for sure.
It's an update, after reinstallation of all mods, list view seems to work. However with spinner view some configurations work some didn't.
well i did a little video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifsR5YMOyKs&feature=share&list=UUqQgjsCtcSbVCRJ-qQwqCOw
Thanks for the swift reply and info. Plus up until this happened I didn't know there was a list view.
I joined an clio race at mills, looking in the cockpit of other drivers, one of four had a static wheel, rest was ok.
Apparently the wheels seem to be working fine now :\ Though another guy confirmed that the game crashes to desktop as soon as he tries to load a previous replay. My precious replays!
I gotta say (other than the G27 FF which has its own thread) I haven't spent much time with the last two releases but now with this release, the sim is starting to feel like it's nearing completion. Framerate is really good now with all eye candy on and triple screens. If I take things down a notch the visuals are still good and framerates are excellent. -- Core i5 3750K, GTX 670 4 GB, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
Where as I gained about 10-15% in FPS with build 101, I gave back about half of that with this build. That's the end of my quantitative analysis. Everything else is "feel" and looks. The visual looks smooth. And I'd swear the grip has a different/better feel. It feels to me more like what Jameswesty talks (and talks and talks... JK ) about, where you can feel the edge of grip and ease back up the slope if you get off momentarily. But I could be imagining it, especially if Tim said the tires/grip weren't changed. Since all my driving is with the 60' F1s, which I think are acknowledged to have a better grip behavior, maybe a refinement of FFB or smooth FPS has made them feel even better. Whatever.... I like where this is getting to.
Thanks for the update guys! Get the same bug as described by fireguard1, but the sim feels smoother and more complete with every build! Could be realated to the new Nvidia 306.02 beta's but the framerate is excellent on my system (560ti). Special thanks to Tim for beeing so patient with all the rage in this thread
Were you running 12.6 before? Are you using Win 7? I havent updated to 12.8 because I read somewhere that 12.8 are the same drivers as 12.6 if you're running Windows 7, and that 12.8 only fixes/adds things for Windows 8 users, so therefore if you dont use Win 8 then 12.6 and 12.8 are identical......... You know if this is true?
