    Cmon guys, I think you're jumping on GT a big to much. There are tons of WSGT2 offline renders which ARE NOT rF2 shots, but are intended as future rF2 mods...so what's the point to be offensive? Even the official WSGT2 rF2 official link is pointing to the same page which contain the Mazda.

    Technically speaking those aren't shot from AC nor rF2 or other sims. Just renders.

    Easy.. :)

    Personally, I just wondered why something that I thought wasn`t for rf2 was in the rf2 screenie thread.

    The lower you make the 3D grass, the densier you need to make it. Otherwise gaps will be visible.
    Densier grass means more polygons and that means higher memory consumption and worse performance.

    That's why I mentioned good tools and game engine support for grass as necessity.
    And that's why I said it's a tricky business :) Dynamic level of detail mechanism designed especially for grass would also be needed.

    Just a short Question, but have this Team ever released something? I know Previews, Renders and Teasers since years from them, but have never drive anything from them. Or did i missed something...

    They are working on WSGT2, the first WSGT mod was released for GTR² quite some years ago. Needless to say, the models back then (from memory I think it was in 2008?) were absolutely brilliant and could still compete against (or beat) a lot of content from different sims today.
