Don't know enough about that to answer. Maybe Joe can write something when he's done with the FX.

 

When you *do* release the release date, will it be weeks or months before the release? I mean, are we likely to hear "rf2 released in 2 weeks" or will we get more advance notice? Some of us still need a time frame to upgrade

I've been following this thread for quite some time now. But I've only just now realised that I can ask a question too. Or I might have done so already but forgotten.

Will there be better gearbox simulation in rF2? Just like Live for Speed has, or iRacing. Especially for the classic cars this would add to the immersion greatly I think.
Driving a 1996 McLaren F1 around a damp la Sarthe track in the morning, shifting and matching revs gingerly as to not upset the rear... Or an F40 LM.

Speaking about the F40... any word on better turbo simulation?

Can the formed racing groove be saved after a session so it builds up as the weekend progresses and then be saved between races so it builds up even more with the option to clear the groove between sessions/races?

ISI.....Release it.....thats the only right answer

 

They'll release it when it's ready. We don't need another iR 2.0

 

It will be released when ISI are happy with it, to release it to the public. Better than an unfinished product with full of bugs.

There’re a lot of guys here answering by ISI staff, we don’t need that. Let the developers staff speak by themselves.

 

ISI staff have said 2011. Someone mentioned christmas and Tim said "you'll be driving by then". If people need to keep restating that, it's only because other people keep asking...

 

I heard the release is being delayed in part because simfactory is releasing thier new build using the new rfactor 2 engine....is that true....or is that only a rumour at this point, thanks.

 

Absolutely untrue, TSF is in no way tied to RF2 release.
