160 miles per hour ? is it possible with those cars ? you mean 160 kilommeters yes ? which inside a car is usually looks like you go with 50 in real life aswell but if you drive lets say a moto bike like 400 cc for example 160 kilometers per hours feels like 160. haha cars sucks everyone get a moto NOW !!!!! Suzuki Bandit 400cc VC (variable valve control) 1997-2016 Rip !!!
From which mod are you talking about? Because in this mod you can adjust the seat in all cars. So there's no problem with that at all.
Did you try to turn down the opponent engine sound? There’s an option in the sound menu where you can adjust your car, and the opponent sounds. It is really impossible to set the "correct" volume what anybody likes. And the other thing the sound is really different in dev mode and single or multi player. So when you are fine with the volume in dev mode, make a package and try in single player mode, and you notice, the volume completely different there. So that's why it is not easy.
Like I said. You can barely move your seat, unlike the other mods, where you can move the seat forward alot. So yes, there is a problem. Unless you like to drive in "backseat". Look at this. Here the speed sensation is already a little low and you are far from the steering wheel and the seat is already full forward. If you decrease the field of view..(to get more close to the windshield), you`re speed sensation will be extremely low. Move the seat forward in a RSS DPI mod for example and see the diference.. how far forward you can move the seat. Or try to use FOV like this and you will understand:
In other words, for those who do not understand , you cannot use the correct field of view with this mod without sacrifice the sense of speed.
Sorry, but this is very uncomfortable. For example: I have the S397 cars opponent volume ratio at 100%, TCR i have to tune down to less than 50%. Why not orientate on the volume of the S397 cars?
This FOV is really unrealistic for me, looks like you are sitting on the steering wheel.... This is the maximum forward position: (i don't think so you can seat more forward then this, and normally the seat in a racing car a little bit behind the "B" pillar)
This is only the right position, if you have your head 1 cm distance from your screen. Use the FOV calculator on iracing, and you will have a better idea between FOV and distance to screen. But no worries. One forum member, already send me a head tilt plugin, to correct the problem (you can adjust the camera/seat without limitations).
I just want to reinforce how good the head tilt plugin is. It removes any camera/seat position limitations: Check it: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/headtilt-plugin.48176/ (by Lazza). I also recommend this WTCR mod from Tommy 98. Very good overall.
I have just bought this pack, and the feeling is like the Civic from ISI, but less pronounced.... About FFB physics, I can't say if it's good or bad, I don't like at all the ISI Clio and Civic, and I have to admit, it's exactly in this direction. The FWD cars in rF2 are really discussed, you love or you hate... For the next buyers, try the Civic from ISI, if you like it, you will like this mod. Little notices, -The center virtual mirrors are stretched.... -Interior with Alfa and Cupra flickers at night. Edit: Tires heat issue. After a 20 min race at Nurburginrg Srpint No chicane, with AI at 100%, I start 20/30. -5 first minutes : I can follow the AI, and I can overtake until to be 9/30. - 5/10 minutes : My tires over heat ,I can't follow AI, and I slowly lose time and I'm overtaked.... -10/30 : slowly lose time, the tires are so much hot......I finish 30/30.... I think there is a BIG issue with the tire heat, no way AI use the same tire heat.
Any chance you could increase the timeout length a bit on your site's downloads? I'm getting to around 1.4Gb out of 1.6 on the WTCR pack before the download kills itself and I'm forced to start all over again.
This Mods is so Fun to drive, I haven't had so much time to race these days but I would still encourage people to get this Awesome mod Bro! (Stupid AI went to pit early, I hope you could edit the fuel to something higher than what they use now)
Has anyone tried this mod at Leipzig Porsche track? Never seen such a chaos. Started with 15 AI. Only 2 Seats (seems the only car which could handled by the AI) and one Hyundai (with 90 secs distance and some rollovers) could finish a 10 minute race. If you watch them from behind, the suspension looks like a Citroen 2CV. They dive/tilt at turns so deep that the front spoiler is below the track surface. Other cars or mods like BTCC work like a charm. What could be wrong?
