Well I thought I understood some things...until GSC2012

How on earth do they get such good ffb and physics? The Mini is simply unbelievable! And the sounds! Mmmmmmmmm.......

This mod is so deep I completely forget I am driving a sim. I am sincerely interested in understanding how they do this. I have always worshipped Historix but not anymore!

Is GSC the best ever?

If not, what else should I try that uses rf1 engine? Some say VLN I think. What else?

Don't waste my time unless as good as GSC.

 

Is this a mod? For rF2?
I take it, it is because it's in the rF2 section, but I can't find it.

Apologies as I was pulled away before finishing this. Relevance to rf2 is how does Reiza get this kind of physics and what will be different if rf2? I know more features and tire model regarding physics but amazing that Reiza does so well. Would also be interesting to know how soon after gold that rf2 engine COULD (aside from negotiations and assuming immediate interest) be made available to Reiza and others for commercial packaging. This seems like the way to go in my opinion after experiencing the Reiza stuff. Great gameplay and polished package.

This by far is one of the best F1 style cars for rFctor1, if I am not mistaken, they have it available for GSC also.

To answer your question on how they can do this.

They have an all star team of very talented, and very devoted guys. that love sim racing, and want to give the best that is possible. And maybe they even get some good support and help from ISI? I bet if you buy a license from them, and make a game like this, the creator is willing to support that money well spent? Just a guess on that point though.

They are worth supporting. And eventually, maybe they will use rf2 for a platform, and they will be worth supporting again.

 

I heard Niels has said in some forum that the rF2 tire model is too complicated for him.

Niels is a very talented person. Gsc basic setup for ffb and his "realheadmotion" is better than rF2 to me. I could not talk in terms of physics because i don't have enough knowledge to talk about this but my feeling tells me he must rock in that area too.
Ffb not surprise me a lot because, with mixed leobodnar and realfeel setups i achieve better ffb feeling than rf2(mostly when it come to slip angles and loosing grip feeling) but rf2 basic setup and his convenience of not need to tweak things compensate his faults enough to me.
His settings for headmotion is much better than what i get with realheadmotion plugin but i think iits most caused of lack of skills to proper setup the plugin in rf2.
Niels skills overlap gsc software limitations. If he do some to rf2 its something that really worth to try.
I suggest people try few laps with his formula armaroli or his f1 mod at interlagos made by Gsc. Its amazing.

It's more of an advertisement for another game if I get it correctly; costs 29,99 dollars......pffff......

Next time; maybe a bit easier; tell what it is and so on.
Relevance to rF2....hmm....when I asked for it, but I can lay some relevance between the game and my dog too.

The game can be really nice; I haven't tried it.
But that was not the point and I wasn't criticizing the game.
