Original track for Assetto Corsa created by @LilSki Track is built off of aerial LIDAR data from 2014. Converted for rFactor 2 @DA-DIGGA, @LilSki, @Schumi and @Heikki21. Incredible work was done specifically for rFactor 2 to create a zone of garages and paddock (Big thanks @LilSki) Basic information about track: - Included all 4 layots - 2 versions of each layouts are planned (as already said @LilSki it will be Endurance with temporary night lighting and as in real life without lighting) - Track has 43 garages and 43 pits (American racing style) - I'm only racing offline it was important to make interesting races with AI (AIWs has all necessary lines for this) This is important to remember: - Forget about race starts from grid - you will be disappointed You can (should) use rolling starts (or fast rolling) as it is customary in American races. I wanted to do it well and I think it works great. - You need to be very careful when starting a track with night lighting with a full starting field. This requires high performance from your PC! You have no idea how long Iz have waited for a decent version of Watkins Glen. The versions we have now are not up to snuff and as such, have never been included in any of our series. Thank you for making this possible. Now maybe we can get a good version of Laguna Seca as well?
Yes it has some bumps but don't expect much. This replicates the glen after the 2016 repave which is very smooth. Many real life drivers have verified the AC version is correct. Here is a video I did in the stock car. There is no camera shake enabled. Only the physics based head movement is turned on.
Will the AI lines for offline races be accurate too or a track for online races? Will have all actual features as standard shaders and etc? I can't wait for this...
4 basic layouts should be included. Long and short both with and without the bus stop. I believe there might be also another set of "layouts" for endurance which includes the temporary track lighting but that I am not sure about. As for shaders it should have all the proper rf2 shaders for rain and real road.
