This is important to remember: - Forget about race starts from grid - you will be disappointed You can (should) use rolling starts (or fast rolling) as it is customary in American races. I wanted to do it well and I think it works great. - Track has 43 garages and 43 pits (American racing style) - You need to be very careful when starting a track with night lighting with a full starting field. Very intersting question. I would like to race at glen with historic f1. Is not possible to use classic standing start?!?
There are no markers of starting positions for standing start on the track, also on the track there are no starting lights. In fact AIW has a starting grid, but it is there only for it to be there. Initially, everything was done to start from a pit lane, behind pace car

Specially for online leagues - it's not true! I can make a classic starting grid for standing start. It will take 10-15 minutes. But I'm against startlights and markers on the road.

This can be put just in one new "layout" if u don't want to add things that don't exists in the real track.
I think that we should not pressure them to do something they do not want, the work they have done is already excellent, and we appreciate the great initiative to bring this great track, excellent work guys, hopefully we will see more jobs like that.
If you were going to PREVIEW a night...why did you leave all those lights and things in the foreground?
