Alt-M seems not to work here too or just did not do the same as in other builds! Did a fresh install and only tested single player. Getting also stuttering after 2 laps at LRP which I did not with 590 on same settings.

game at full settings 1080p on silverstone with my pc only 45 min and 60-70fps max is poor performance?

Plugins don't seem to be working anymore. Tried pressing "G" to make sure that I hadn't inadvertently disabled them, but still no joy. I use the Pedal Overlay plugin by Techade and the dash meter plugin, both have stopped working and were fine in Build 590. Any suggestions appreciated. :)

Cheers

Justin

Added texture sharpening option to plr file allow mip lod bias adjustments

Alt+M should now be a plr setting, haven't tested yet if it works.

Plugins work okay here, I'm using TechAde's Pedal Overlay plus another one, without any problems.

Hmm, weird. I'll try reinstalling rf2, when I get home. Thought it was strange nobody else had noticed.

Not sure if it's just me however if anyone else could check.

The pit exit lights are not working on my 629 build on Sebring however are working fine on the current build. I've not yet installed any other tracks but there is certainly no light at the end of pitlane.

This the one?

Texture Sharpening="5" // Sharpen textures using MIP LOD bias - 0=Off, 1=+2.0(very blurry), 2=+1.0(blurry), 3=-1.0(sharp), 4=-2.0(very sharp), 5=0.0(auto)

I tried both 0 and 5, but none of them look as good as with Alt/M in build 590. Or maybe I'm just imagining things?
However, Alt/M seems to mess up the saving of the player file now, so I guess that keyboard shortcut should be removed before next stable release?

Btw, I can confirm that omni lights (track floodlight definitions) work fine in this unstable build. Thanks for bringing them back. :)

Pour les karts,c'est beaucoup mieux !La conduite est beaucoup plus réaliste et les dérives plus facile à corriger ! (I can't translate more )
For karts,it's very better !

The URD mod cars seem to be the worst affected as far as ruining the experience. Stable setups now snap violently on fast corner entry. The car responds over sensitively to a slight high speed steering input. I realise they arent ISI cars but the change is most noticable with these.

The FIA F2 just feels like it has lost all steering feel completely, no useful FFB coming from the car anymore. Feels like random bumping and jolting as opposed to feeling what the car is doing. Jr Karts seem GLUED to the track now, even a green track. Cant seem to get the Juniors to snap around like they did when you turned in too hard in the last build. They seem particularly arcade-y now.

I experience this too, Formula ISI 2012 on a green track. It doesn't feel bad though, it was just a tad unexpected. :)

I have driven a couple hundreds of laps with Formula ISI recently. I notice absolutely no change in physics from build 590 to build 630. Neither change in FFB nor laptimes. I just clocked an identical tenths laptime on both versions. Could be coincidence of course, but if there is a change it's so small it doesn't seem to affect anything in practise. I am usually very sensitive to these things.

I can confirm some changes, too. Tested the F1 karts in build 629 and I was spinning like crazy, could not complete one single lap, it felt like too much bite on the front tires. Then tried the same combination with build 590 (starting with green track both times, same plr file, same controller.ini, T500 RS+TH8RS Shifter) and it was ok. After trying some other cars I think that the change is more noticeable on the lighter cars. Heavy GT cars like the Camaro feel almost the same in both builds. Laptimes did not improve much.
Definitely no fps issue, both builds run nice and smooth with 80-100 fps.
Maybe it is just a thing to get used to, I struggled with the karts in the beginning and needed a long time to adapt to them, build 629 feels like my first steps with the karts.

Edit: another visit to Quebec in build 629 - suddenly everything was back to normal. Strange....

The steering had a strange feel to it with this build, the FFB didn't feel quite right. I deleted my controller profile and made a new one and all is good again. Worth a shot for anyone who thinks the build has a strange feel to it.
