Thx nikos for bringing this up! Indeed cookie and I are missing in the 3rd race results. It would be nice to correct this since i dont get 2nd place that often

Thanks for all the hard work hosting the event. I had lots of fun. Clever website too.
I had some good battles with Martin(DrR1pper) and JonathanH. Jonathan you are to fast .
I got caught up in the 1st corner crash race 2. My car flying into the air 10 metres, sailed over a bridge that crosses the track, and somehow land in one piece. Surly I get extra points for style.
Some problems with the grid order for race 2 and 3. Same happened at Spa too. Rfactor 2 bug?

The 3 races had big key moments (several cars crashing), race 1 and 2 in the first curve (saint devote), race 3 in the chicane (me screwing it there and the cars coming behind could not avoid me). I will try to see if i can make fraps to work at a lower quality and capture those moments and upload them to youtube, that would be great.

Talking about the previous brainstorm and the ideas that came from it.
Is it posible to set the friday and saturday practice sessions to be a single 165 minute session instead of being "standard" practices-qualifying-10 min races.?

 

No, dont do this, gorgias if something happens at the start (it usually does) you lose all 165 min.
Same goes for race time. Ithink 3X20 is wise.

 

Interesting ideas guys. Let's see what Dany and I can come up with.

Changing weather works fantastic in Formula Renault and Megane but I'm not so sure about the wet tyres in the 60's series. A little testing too do.

At the moment it's all about some Fun Races and I think running 3x20's is giving everyone a go. Given the fact we've seen some strange things happen and this game is still in beta to take to the next level comes with risks.

Personally I rather show more positive video's. Race one there was a great battle between 2 fast drivers that changed hands many times. Footage showing the skill of these guys would be more enticing to than a turn one pub brawl

Keep the ideas coming in, Dany and I are working hard ours.

Imo i think you need to have changeable weather,i'm not to fussed what you do with the race formats,
i think the 3 x 20 min races were fine,but whats the point of having a racing simulator with changeable
weather and not using it? so to keep things interesting i think weather is a must.

 

Could someone upload replays of the races when they get a chance? I missed this one so
I'm interested to watch the races.

Dany, great work on the website, I was looking at the results page and that Lapchart is
a really good addition, it makes me want to view the replays even more.
