Thanks, Keep going guys.
Sorry if a stupid question or if it has been asked before - can you zoom in on the showroom? I love the new light studio.
Right mouse click + move mouse forward/backwards.
Thought it would be simple Thanks champ.
May already have been mentioned, but when in VR, adding AI to a server while in the menu screen, you get that old horrible lag in the headset.
Fine on screen, but enough to give you sea sickness in VR
Seems to be a problem that gets fixed, then next build or so its back again
I've tried this several times.
I've also repaired SteamService.exe and reinstalled Steam client. Nothing worked, still error 3:0000065455.
Tried the new UI for the first time , Great job . Every thing is intuitive.
Now we need to improve tye offline game and more laser scanned tracks .
Showrooms not working - just get a black window where mousepointer vanishes behind. Text is ok in the upper part but no car or anything else. Tried Silverstone and Light version. With official cars and mods.
Using VR here.
the showroms works for me, in vr it's perfect for me
Sorry if I misunderstood, I understand that it doesn't work for you.
Yeah in replay. Really?, people actually use Swingman camera views when driving?! That option/concept/desire has never crossed my mind! Especially in VR!
But now I've found it in replay and I'm happy.
lol , in VR would be hilarious!
I've known some people to be very quick driving in that view (on a screen!), and I guess it came from old games like NFS where that was the view. I always opted for the closest thing I could get to cockpit if it wasn't available, so often hood or bumper cam. I just couldn't "see" what the car was doing properly on that view from behind.
But I figure this is why I like sims, and why I'm just generally a better human being than those people
I have the exact same problem. Though I don't use VR. So it's even stranger. I upgraded to WIndows 11 the day before the UI update. I don't know, maybe this is connected to that.
is it possible to change the distance the driver-labels appears ?
No, not configurable at this point.
Update on laggy VR setup listing screen issue....
I've noticed that if I move my head around (in VR) in this screen, I get a ghost/background image of the track loading screen (i.e. 3-segment track map with %ge loaded indicator etc.) superimposed on the main rf2 screen. Doesn't happen in any of the setup sub-screens - only the buggy setup listing screen... Coincidence?
BTW - where should we be reporting this? There's no acknowledgement or indication that the Bugs section is being read...
I've completly uninstalled Steam and reinstalled from 0. Now works again, but i need too reconfig all again, reinstall games... A total loss of time.
I want to join a server. GUI hang up joining. No timeout, no return. Taskmanager -> delete task. Not the right way to deal with connection issues if you ask me...
edit: there was a mod update done by our admins. I did not get it as I had no abo for the steam workshop item, so I was on a old version of the mod.
So: you have no proper version (still, you CAN press join) and then you hang forever? This is something to improve guys! thx
I have a request. When I set up a multi class endurance type session I cannot see spelled out, i.e written who is driving what car. The problem is that I am trying to balance the grid to have al least a pair of each type of LMP car but although there are pictures I am not really an expert on these cars (I usually drive the GTE's) and I just used to look through the list on the last UI and think, oh well I need to take out 2-3 orecas and add 1-2 ligiers, now I cant see what the cars are at a glance to work out what drivers to kick and what to add. I may have missed this and if so, sorry and someone point out where to see it, but you could in the last UI and now I don't think you can. No big deal but it would save me some time.
Not sure if it has already been reported here, but chat order (multiplayer) still messed up...
