Released Subscribe to the latest DX11 updated Content!

Just to know guys.
I don't use PP on the launcher graphics settings, but...

For the dx11 track content, I don't see any differences. Is that I must expect with PP off ?

EDIT :
Official and unofficial track content.

Good thinking Batman :) Didn't think of that one, I'll try it now...
Tried it, no change. :( It's a car, a Chevy, Nr.5. Not a third-party addon, but from rF. It's the only object that has the blinding light effect, could it be that they simply overlooked it?
Btw, I have no PP effects enabled. Shame, otherwise the track is blast: I remember it from trying the demo way back when...it's a while ago.

I just downloaded Toban from the Steam Worksop and I saw the Chevy you mentioned but there was no blinding light.
I don't have PP enabled either.
Maybe you could try deleting your version and download Toban from the Steam Workshop.

The version I had was only downloaded today, but I unsubscribed it again nevertheless, and then downloaded it once again. No change :( I guess I'll just have to put up with it, another charming "feature" in rF2 that makes this game so special ..:D

When was the last time you updated the drivers for your graphics card?
Might be worth a try.
I have GeForce Experience installed, and it sends me a message when new drivers are available. The drivers I have are the newest.
Btw, I have an GTX 970, i5 6600K, 16gb memory, Gigabyte MB and win 10 64bit, I only built the rig in 2016, and it is only used for driving sims, no junk on it.
In rF2 I have everything maxed out, and I still get well over 100fps...go figure...

Today, more in desperation than anything else, I tried deleting the cbash and shader folder contents again, and installed the latest drivers from 29.01.18 (390.77) : no change :( WTF?

When will Toban Raceway be updated to DX11? I visited it today after not driving it for a long time, and was amazed that it still hasn't been updated. How many years is it going to take before rF2 is fully converted to DX11?
When you drive out of the pits, you nearly get blinded by a shiny object on the right just before the pit exit. Shame, as although it's fictional, it' a really nice track to race at.

It has been updated, it's listed in this thread. What you describe as blinding is the same white background as you are watching on this forum. IMO some objects in direct sunlight should be near white, but I could be wrong and there's a real bug. Hard to say without a screenshot.

so one object off to the side, is causing "desperation?" When I get a working wheel, I'll take a look.
probably will be two or three weeks.

So, Captain direct sunlight, here is what a Nr.5 Chevy looks like in Toban when I drive out of the pits. i5 6600K, 16gb, Nvidia GTX970, latest drivers, no PP effects.

Looks pretty much like a DX11 problem to me:

I meant desperation regarding the solution to the problem: of course I can ignore it: it's only apparent when I use the pits or when I drive by on the straight. BUT, it's a problem that should not be there, and I want to know why. I didn't build a new gaming PC for over €2K to have to put up with this kind of nonsense in 2018. I know it's only a first-world problem, but I want to know why, from a technical standpoint: in theory, with my system specs, it just shouldn't be.....
