Well, I was prepared to try anything

I keep thinking I hear a little snort of disgust when I cross the line.I have never heard the spotter, I thought maybe I am too slow and he doesn't think my lap time is worth mentioning

I'll try the volumes, but I have never heard any spotter, not even really faint (tried b198 and b218).
Maybe because I have the data files in D:\ instead of the default?
Besides adjusting the volumes (spotter at least double than the rest), try installing Core and Data in the same place, or just copy the folder Installed\Commentary from Data to Core.
This worked for me.
jGraf mentioned trying this in post #7...
I`ve had them both installed in the same location since day one and only ever heard the spotter very faintly even with volumes adjusted etc.
That`s just my findings though, as it seems to have worked for you Armando.
You can just copy the Commentary from your data folder to core folder and get the spotter back. I copied it to C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Installed the spotter is now back.
Please bring the rFactor (1) spotter back!
The voice spoke more naturally and was loud and clear. Please bring the old spotter back.
