Hi, Has any released a Silverstone 91-96 layout, the version before Luffield 1 & 2 became the Luffield loop. There was a version in RFactor, which may have been ported across, but I can't find anything anywhere. Thanks for any help.
It was FCMG who made the original rF1 version. I'd love to have this version in rF2 as well. Maybe we could sweet talk someone into converting it
i just started this conversion, early days yet, hope its the right one as i wasted days on the 2000 version.
Would love to see the pre-2010 version as well. Used to love throwing cars into Bridge and seeing how much I could kerb hob through the Abby Chicane.
There is a raw conversion of the rF1 Silverstone 2004 by Ash74. Quite bumpy and old looking by now (2013 !)
Silverstone aint Silverstone without bridge corner to me. Its just one corner i always thought was cool. Very sad when it went.
I remember standing between Luffield 1 & 2 on a rainy July Friday in 1993 when I was 8 years old, and hearing the Ferrari V12s come past only a few feet away! Blew my mind, and my ear drums! Also got to touch Damon Hill's FW15 after he ran out of talent at Stowe in the morning. Typical British mid-summer weather: about 5 degrees C and horizontal rain!
Looks good @philrob except for Stowe, but I've never seen an accurate 91-93 Stowe. Just glad to have the 91-93 Abbey-Bridge-Priory-Brooklands-Luffield
having one particular version of one track is reason enough to re-install a sim? {is there a head-shake emoji?}
