Hi Didi, I deleted the "didi schlatter" account a minute ago, please check to make sure I got the right one ;-) Cheers, Uwe
Track / Car Promotions added A new feature similar to rF1 Rank's track / car Promotion has been added, you can see the currently active promotion in the left navigation pane. Right now we're using the BT-20 @ Brianza 1966 for our first promotion which lists overall best lap times. Enjoy, Uwe
Indeed I have, I'm currently waiting for the next gold build to be released to the public so we can include some formula two and clio times in the mix. If you have any good suggestions for what (new) historic cars to use for the beta rank, I'm all ears. Once the new mods are publicly available, I'll wipe the beta ranks completely so we can start from scratch. All the best, Uwe
Maybe you can start a new (or second) beta rank with the now available ISI-cars and ISI-tracks... For example: Eve F1: Spa Spark F2: Monaco Eve F3: Spa Brabham: Brianza 10k Megane: Portugal GT Formula Master: Malaysia Full Loop Clio: Mills_InnerLoop_C F3.5: Mills_OuterLoop_B Nissan GT: Mills_OuterLoop_A Nissan 370z: Palm Beach
Hi folks, I've now changed the reference times for monaco / f2 and spa / f1 to point to the spark f1 / f2 cars. All handicaps have been wiped from the database, so please re-upload your lap times. I'll add the clio and the other new cars in due time. Cheers, Uwe
Setup info included in Rank? Just curious. Will there be a way to include setup info or (since some would not want to share) at least whether default setup or some publically available or default setup was used? Reasoning is that I would like to compare my driving ability to others vs my ability to setup cars. Does that make sense? Sorry if this has already been addressed. Thanks!
Actually, Kknorpp001 (wow, what a name!) has a very good question, which raises another one. What about different assists and help (braking help, abs etc.), is there a way to see whether that is used or not? Personally I prefer everything off, but I can imagine that for an old slowpoke like me, those things could help quite a bit..
Hi folks, during internal testing an issue has come up with the class naming of the historics cars, so you may well be unable to register a proper betarank laptime at the moment if all you've driven is historics v1.1. The issue is being addressed by the devs atm is will hopefully be fixed for the next gold build release. Cheers & thanks for your patience, Uwe
I have added support for the new Sebring and the updated Mid-Ohio. Sebring has three layouts that have been added and Mid-Ohio should now register times for both the chicane and no-chicane version.
Great news Ethone, thanks for taking the time to update the tracks, it's much appreciated. All the best, Uwe
Thanks to Ethone and the fine guys over at Virtua_LM, we have now added Sebring to the track database. Three layouts are available (12H, club and modified); all seem to register fine, great work!
Hello Uwe, first thanks for your work Maybe there's a little bug tough? I just uploaded my updated career file but I noticed that my new pb was not saved. Right after the upload, it shows me 4 rows for Brabham/Monaco Track Car Class Car Name Overall Quali Race MONTECARLO_1966 Brabham BT20 1966 Brabham BT20 1966 MONTECARLO_1966 Brabham BT20 1966 Brabham BT20 1966 01:33.180 MONTECARLO_1966 Brabham BT20 1966 Brabham BT20 1966 01:29.190 01:30.383 01:29.694 MONTECARLO_1966 Brabham BT20 1966 Brabham BT20 1966 01:31.165 When I then check "my laps" the 1:31.165 from the last row is saved unter "overall" instead of the 1:29.190 from the second last row. So it seems like the second last row is simply "overwritten" by the last row.
Hello Ray, can you please check the original CCH file to see if it contains more than one "overall" trackstats entry for Montecarlo_1966? That'd be weird and probably a bug in the lap record saving code. All the best & thanks, Uwe
I had a look at the BRABHAMBT20_1966_CHALLANGE_10.cch file and it only shows one Monaco record: [PLAYERTRACKSTAT] TrackName=MONTECARLO_1966 TrackFile=D:\DATEN\DOKUMENTE\RFACTOR2\INSTALLED\LOCATIONS\MONTECARLO1966\1.1\MONTECARLO_1966 ClassRecord="*",208,89.1897,90.3831,89.6937 ClassRecord="Brabham BT20 1966",208,89.1897,90.3831,89.6937 I also checked the other cch files and searched for 91. (1:31.) but no CCH file contains this as far as I can say. I can't quite see where the career.blt files takes this time from (I also deleted and recreated the blt file but the 1:31 was in it again).
