Started 5 laps race in the rain with 5 AI with Meganes at LRP. After lap 1 all AI going to pits. So I guess they are starting on slicks no matter what the weather is?

when 1st loaded with build 198 car colors were ok. Tried HDR profile did not like it but when I truned off HDR car colors are now very faded. Blue is almost grey. I used config utility to turn on & off the HDR.
Build 156 did not do this.
How do I get normal colors to return?

Same problem here and many others reported it too. Fortunately HDR doesn't seem to give me big fps hit anymore, but I have to test more.

There are solutions for this :). For example, volumetric lighting.

rfactor 1 with shaders by K Szczech - check out car lights and track lights too.

Ales, you must make a dummy object that cover the zone you do not want spray or smoke (ex. a deformed cube that cover all inside cockpit) and put the right properities in vehicle .ini.

    That is a joke right?
I read your posts for over a year now, 99% of them negative.
I remember once you made a positive comment and all of us thought maybe you were ill :D

    Hello,

As others, I think it's nice to have rainspray now, but actually it's not realistic, it need more transparency, it come from behind the car instead from the tires, it "stop" without gradient and is too white (on the Marrussia screenshot, the grey look better!).

I've seen other things that don't work great with rain, the body reflect is too reduced and it don't need, in "real life" reflects are strong with bad weather... and with tire lightning it's the opposite, they are looking like in the sun or with a spotlight, too "bright"...

Thanks for the work, i hope all this will be corrected or improved on the next builds ;) !

I want to give some suggestions to ISI and modders. I work in a manufacturing plant asphalt... ;)

The asphalt used on the track is different from the city streets because the one used on the track has a particle size larger and this leads to have more "empty spaces" and hence a greater drainage and abrasive than that used city streets that has a granulometry smaller and therefore more "closed".

The new asphalt also dries about 50% more slowly than the old one because it is given a special adhesive that is used to hold it together during the cooling phase immediately after laying, this glue with the passing of time and the car it is consumed and then after it dries like the old asphalt.

I think it's happened to all to go by car just lying on the asphalt, who then looked at the tires of your car you will definitely notice some stones that are glued to the rubber, behold, this is due precisely to this glue.

ps. sorry for my english... google translated :p

)) No, no kidding, I say, my oschyuscheniya, but they are not the best. Faith and hope is lost. These old effects, not balanced, and I do not see a visible improvement in the schedule. Graphics can not skate ISI and should refer to specialists or to switch to another graphics motor, but it is very difficult and long process. Spent a lot of time. Visible improvements in the schedule do not see.
Physics separate part. It is good, but the visual part, is not normal.

    Hahahahahaha good one! :)

By the way guys, obviously ISI knows that the spray is too much like clouds, and too much like a solid white object at the moment, (and other problems) ISI obviously knows this and will keep improving it, just like everything else in the game has been improving.

This rain, while definitely having issues, is a major positive sign to me that ISI are real dedicated to making a TRUE rain experience unlike any other game before. They are going to go after the most realistic amount of spray, and most realistic amount of visibility loss from rain/spray, that any game has ever done, FINALLY.

Not to mention they showed some rain videos from a couple years ago that already looked pretty good, don't worry guys!!!

I do understand many of the comments about the spray. I for one is happy that it has been released again, even in its state.
But now, is there not a way to alter the template/image/cloud that is used for spray? Like people did for rF1?
I dont mind fiddling with that myself actually. Is there anyone who knows where that/those files are located, and are the open for modding? (Just a question. No need to look for them if someone knows where they are)
It should not be to difficult to edit them in some way for transparency and color change them a bit?

I could be wrong and it could be very difficult, but willing to give that a go anyway.

I really like the game, but water plume unrealistic and not beautiful.
Better fix this bug. Yesterday was a race and such bugs deprived of chances to win.

Inside there are many patterns, road dust, spray, dirt, grass and so on. But I do not understand why it is not used in the switches on the assembly.
