The road to Vegas started early October, when the first qualification races were held at the Long Beach track. Drawn by the $1 million in prize money and the chance to compete against the 20 real Formula E drivers, the best simracers of the world started competing for 10 spots in the final in Las Vegas, which will take place later today during the Consumer Electronics Show. I guess the DX11 update can't come quick enough.. (I know the quality of that track isn't dx9/11,etc related)
I wonder is there anything different/special about the build they are running, or is it a straight RF2 build/mod
prc...Poor people embittered behind a screen... ps:It is true that the mod hurts in every sense of the word
I heard they only had 2 weeks to make each track... looks like they had 12 days spare after finishing this one
There is nothing special about the build they are running. Cloud Sport added their timing software, but that's all done via the normal Plugin API.
At least the FE drivers seem to be taking it more seriously than some might have feared. The first practice results seem pretty close throughout, the fear the sim racers would disappear whilst the FE drivers mucked around may unfounded. http://www.fiaformulae.com/en/news/2017/january/bono-huis-tops-first-practice-in-vegas/
It seriously isn't much better than my old 1996 fave sim Grand Prix 2, anyone who asks "what game is this?" and told that it's RF2 will be immediately turned off, sorry but I don't see any good coming from this at all, all around the sim racing community it's laugh-a-minute at "crappy graphics RF2" at this....as if it needed any more of that in the first place! Why couldn't they have more time to produce a better looking track?, are ISI/S397 honestly happy that their product is being showcased in this form? I know I wouldn't be, no matter the glamour of the Event or what it might bring. I almost feel embarrassed as an RF2 fan to watch it! Spot the difference, I can't: Edit: ...and yes I know graphics are not the be all and end all of a racing simulation, but in todays market the better graphics stand out and count for something, that's just the way it is today.
in 2106-2017 please look color and graphics!! o,O Around me people always tell me same things, I play not has rf2 has cause of the graphics and the empty server ...
