I did comparsion of screenshots with original texture.

    1. HDR ON
    2. HDR OFF

HDR drastically change colours, but even without HDR textures in game look different (more yellow like you said)

I have never seen grass in a game like that! It literally looks real. Wow. What track is that more to the point, it looks stunning.

Ah should of read it first before jumping on how good it looks. It is real

Texture is great indeed... but photorealistic? I'm afraid not, and it's not a track developper fault but the in-game light system itself.

As they should :) A texture isn't supposed to contain any lighting information, only its reflectance. If a light has color, then it should pick up the color. The problem doesn't even lie with the lighting engine itself, but with the track-maker :). I believe all he has to do is set the sun to white instead of giving it a yellow/orange tint.

Even comparing directly against a photo can lead to some significant errors, since a camera will have its own response curve, and can be affected by things such as exposure and white balance.

You can't control lights' (ambient, direct) colours in rf2 so it doesn't depend on track maker.

Yes, those parameters are still there but they don't work in the same way as in rf 1.
ATM colours are controlled by rf2 not by track makers ;)

Yes you are blind dude. The texture colours is what they are talking about, and the texture is photorealistic. I am 100% sure that the textures mapped bad near the edge of the road is just for test. You can see some models of transitions from grass to road.

The grass looks nice from up close yes, but when driving on the track it will just look like a flat repeating mess.
