    Goodo...

I take it the T-cam thing will be "squished" too Tim?

    And a question...

The front wheels going up in the air after contact, is that some kind of bug and will that also be squished?

    :)

I submitted it also. Weakened suspension should force upwards like that, but should also break due to it. Some work needed there. :)

What defies logic is they beta test and

    1. Never knew

    or

    2. Released it then pretend they never knew.

Who does the initial beta testing, monkeys. ?

lol jk but if a few guys here can find it in a day it does not say much.

The few guys here have had more time with the car than the testers got with the final version. But that is beside the point, it's working now how it's 'supposed to' in that regard. And don't use names in that context towards the testers, that didn't sit well with me.

That wasn't very polite towards internal beta testers but man am I LMAO!!! :D

Oh mercy... Well maybe they put it together so quick that didn't have time to do proper internal testings.

Cheers... those little bugs are really spoiling the screens for now, at some angles anyway.

The internal testers make sure that selecting the car doesn't cause a CTD. Our job is to nitpick everything and be passive aggressive to ISI.

This is only possible with invulnerability switched on, you crash, you basically have infinite forces without things breaking off, the wheel moved up so far in the accident that the spring actually got reversed (turned around), and is now pushing the wheel upward instead of downward. It's not an easy thing to fix. We saw it in testing, and we did a couple of things to reduce the likelihood of it showing up, I haven't seen it since though, so I suppose these guys had some seriously big crashes.

Thanks for the link to the template Tim. Now let's see what I can put together in short order :)

EDIT: Started to work on the template and looked in game to see how things look. Do I have something set wrong? If you look at the image, the stripes look horrible on the car, but the drivers helmet looks good. I have all graphic options turned to max with no FSAA but 8X AA in game.

Looks like the template would not be correct. On the nose it looks fine, but on the body the stripes gets broaden out and stretched. I've had similar problems with both Corvette and EVE F1 templates. Some areas will stretchen the decals, so on Corvette I simply left that area empty. With EVE F1 I could resize the decal so it had wrong proportions in photoshop, but showed up correctly ingame :p

Try to scale the stripes on the body so that it is smaller than the nose-stripes, then it maybe show up correctly in game.

I will give it a shot, but not sure that is the issue. The entire area on top of where the drivers legs go seems blurry even with a template saved with 4096 X 4096 resolution. I may end up going with a solid color there as well, though it won't be what I wanted to do there.

Do templates from other sims have these little flaws or is it something to do with rf2 being (what was considered a few weeks ago) to be "beta"?

I ask as a noob painter and rf2 is my first skinning experience...
