[WIP] Queensland Raceways Track Pack

Coming along nicely, just sorting out the mapping and variations with the grass and gravel. I think it should look good and i can add the dead and bare patches with the variation with vertex colours.

 

Two words: Brands Hatch.

The locals over the back end of the track complained to the council and now only BTCC and British Superbikes can use the long track and are on strict curfew times.

Same goes for anyone that buys a house near a busy airport and complains.

 

That's incorrect as I was at the F1 historic the other week and they used the GP circuit, as are DTM in August

 

British GT, Blancpain Sprint...
Thankfully the GP layout isn't quite dead yet!

 

Hey everyone,

Since the real Ipswich race is only 3 weeks away, I will release another version of the current track with more trees to make is feel a bit more complete should people want to have a rev around at that time.

Lakeside is coming along well and a B.A. Beta version will be released soon as well. (B'A. = Bare Arse)

 

I might have to use it for a V8 Supercars race again. Love the shorter tracks.

 

Keen as for Lakeside ! Are you putting it on Steam workshop ?

 

Have go the trees in game. They need height and sorting but are better than none at all.
I will upload the new version this week. It is so very hard to find decent gum trees....

 

Check out Bathurst. ...that should help you. No X trees only billboards or 3d.

 

My barbagallo has about 10 different gum trees in billboards.

 

Queensland Raceway is undergoing safety upgrade with catch fencing everywhere....personally I am for safety but there is no way I am adding these to my RF2 track....they look just plain ugly....and to my knowledge no one has been killed in game from flying cars

Added trees. Further updates will be fine tuning cosmetics and objects, grass to be more realistic.
The other layouts will be added as well. AIW tuning.

Lakeside will be my main focus for a while and will be released in a pack including QR

 

I need to get used to billboards. I always have issues with them.

Gday Mike thx for track, however just letting you know that we tryed putting your track on our server and it crashed...
Not sure what the go is but yeah no luck... however it does work in single player.........Oh yeah forgot to mention that brake markers could be a little bigger....

 

Next V8 round is at Ipswich isn't it?

 

Darn....I wonder why? I am going through all the gmt and image files to see if there is an issue there....

 

Updating the sponsors for this weeks race....not too hard.....will release a little update later....
