View attachment 19860 Notice that the garage door seems done, doesn't block you or leaving the pit though. Apart from that, wow man this is awesomely well done! I love the detail and environment, it looks fantastic and this is one of my favourite tracks so I can't thank you enough for making this
Thanks a lot for this and your continued work to get rid of bugs and make it as accurate as possible. Don't worry about re-releasing the whole package each time you improve. Anyone not willing to download a few more MB can just wait until v1.0!
Thanks Marc, with plenty drivers testing it the bugs rise very fast but luckily they'll be killed promptly. I'll upload a patch to v0.941 today.
Most important--the overall quality of the track construction and the graphics and textures are professional quality. Well worth everyone helping you to polish to perfection. Stunningly well done!
Yep. Very well done. Thank you very very much. Great to drive with the group c cars on it. Cheers Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
This is really a beatifull track. I haven't had time to explore it yet propperly but from my short run it looked really great. Thank you very much for the work and effort to bring this to rF2.
Thank you for the kind words guys. I wasn't able to fix the sinking GMT yesterday (I guess it's a problem related to driveable tunnel underneath that track spot), but I couldn't fix it whatever I tried. When I back home this afternoon I'll fix it, the crazy garage doors and other minor corrections and pack a patch. See you
Thanks for the awesome track. Really gorgeous. I found a few issues with v0.94 First. When you come out of turn 5 (Le Musee (the left hand corner that opens up)) if you run wide on exit, just passed the rumble strip on the right, the car kicks up into the air. About 4 feet into the air. Second. The sand trap to the left as you approach turn 6 (Garage Vert) causes the car to sink and get stuck Really loving this track. Great work.
Yes, the bugs you found is related to "sinking" GMTs not reacting to car as they should. Thanks for reporting the sand trap bug, is probably the same material issue. When I fix the first probably I'll fix both. Thanks!
Just for keeping up, I solved the sinking issue but I'm puzzled with garage doors issue. They appears open or closed in a random way. Studying the problem. Edit> Alright, done. Tomorrow v0.95 with fixes.
Great work for this one .... but i have one point to say about one thing that for me... felt wrong... the bumps on the straight finish line make no sense at all... and on other parts of the track also a bit to mutch bumpy! On the real track they don't have an do not feel that... maybe on thing to improve! And for a comparison to the real thing ( on a karting that is good to notice all the little bumps ) i leave here a video for you to check it out please... One other thing that i notice is that not all the curbs on the track are in there correct position.. i mean... they are facing "backwards"... the wheels can't pass on then on a normal way. Hope you can fix this issues an improve for the next version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2mkmRfnWSQ
Hello Pedro, Unfortunately I've never driven on this track. To be honest, I've never set foot in France, sadly. I added some bumps (not virtual but geometric ones) based on onboard cameras. I'll revise this aspect as you suggested but I need a bit more accurate feedback now, as someone who actually drive on this track. In any cases, I can smooth a bit in TDF for 0.96. The reversed kerbs geometry is a known issue, please review the first post. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks Mydriaz. Please find linked the newest update (0.95) in the first post. Always counting on your feedback to eliminate all bugs before go to the visuals fine tunning.
