Very nice to have the historic Nordschleife in the sim at last! Would it perhaps be possible to make a version where we use the old paddock and remove the "pitwall"?
@Luis Barata The 1967 F1 Grand Prix was disputed only in the Nordschleife portion of the track. View attachment upload_2024-8-3_18-28-43.png https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_German_Grand_Prix Could you create a version without Sudschleife? -Track still not having the Instant timing mod -Track still having wrong pitlane space delimitation and speed. I thanks in advance if someone is willing to do it. I still having the cam file I done for the other version based on real life footage, probably will not fit in this version, but anyway, the file is here, feel free to use it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TkolxteJK0V5sp1bhVv0JG_9JwdLmR6B/view?usp=sharing
Ok, now I saw that you used my cams already, cool, one problem less! Rf2 accepts 4 different trackside cam paths, I remember of doing only one, the other 3 should be disabled, probably it isn't, cause depending on how much times I click on trackside label on replay the cams goes crazy. Some heli cams are making the interior of the cars disappears, if you wanna try to fix it, you can select the cam, enter in advanced and increase the LOD value.
Not working, current not started counting. I had to disable Flag Rules because of the pit speed limit. You can see at the end of the video which session it is, I tried on qualifying too, same result.
The track in your video is not this track. You posting to the wrong thread. Think the track in your video is called Gesamtstrecke and link is here https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/nurburgring-1967-dreamers.70831/page-10 Looks like you already got a few posts there.
What the heck, Sry guys, I thought that I had subscribed for the track... Now everything is correct, forget everything I said before... @Luis Barata, you can use my track cam file if you want, if not fits with the track I can try to find a time to do it.
If i remember it right, i was in Contact with Luis to help him to add it. And if i'm not completely wrong, it should be integrated into the Workshop Version already.
from LuisB workshop's comments: To start the chronometer counting in the first lap when leaving the pits continue straight close to the second garages until the end of the cement road passing right way og the small poles with the chain then the chronometer should start (please use it only in the first lap and the lap time will be slightly lower than a normal lap since the counting is starting later). The access to chronometer in qualifying and race is closed, only possible in pratice.
Any one notice all of LuisB posts have been deleted? He had lots of posts in this thread but all gone now. Was his account hacked?
Can it be, that himself asked for deleting his Account here? I mean to remember to have read something like that, but i'm not sure if it was Luis Barata. @Coutie Can you maybe shed some Light on it?
Don't know if it is relevant to his posts being deleted here, but there was some issues of "borrowed" assets on some of his tracks over on Overtake/Race Department. It got kind of ugly. I like his work. He does make nice tracks.
Thanks Mauro, this is good but what @redapg proposed and did for the 397 Nurburgring is better its not much use just for practice, qualification is what i am interested in... thanks anyway
How can that happen ? Hopefully my account is never going to get infected lol Shame this project ended as it started. Could perhaps been good one. But as always lack of care.
Well, someone made a new account here to say their old account was taken over by a spam bot, and then their new account also got taken over...
I had some interactions with LuisB and he did not come out as an easy person to cooperate with and, from memory, he rejoined the forum around 4 years (after having left for years), left again, rejoined again and, apparently, left again. If that was due to his account being stolen, or not, I don't know, but last time I read something he wrote, he seemed to have moved back to AC. I could try to relay a message to him via Steam, if anyone would like me to.
