Mianiak's Nurburgring seems like one of the most underrated tracks around. My jaw was on the floor when i saw the videos of it that Tosch made. I'm so glad that Mianiak has allowed you to use his track.
Two worlds collide. BIG THANKS to mianiak for allowing us to use this fantastic track and DJC who is the driving force on this project (and does most of the work)! ...and ISI for this great Sim. I still can't believe that it is possible to merge these two tracks (unoptimized) and there is almost no noticeable drop in performance (with a single car, 30 AI might be a different story ).
Well I don't know if sticking both together is so good. On the tourist track I can never find the pit in road...just run till out of fuel, so I reckon if both tracks are tied together, heck, I'll never know where I'm at at any given point in time. will need to carry extra cans of fuel. All kidding aside, (shucks, I was serious) this is a great feat!
That's quite the feat, putting two tracks together :-o !!! Congrats everyone involved! Is it feasible to work on the GP layout (at least the elevation) for the first sector?
I actually had no clear idea until now where the two tracks merge in reality, but the screenshot makes it very clear, thanks! How do they go into the pits, actually? Does a pitting car basically do two laps of the GP before going back in Nords?
I have to say until yesterday I had no idea how to enter the pits. Luckily DJC pm'd me a hint. Just tried a race with 59 AI (GTR's only) in devmode and it works but 8GB RAM is the absolute minimum atm and we need to improve the performance in some areas.
Ah, so in the original screenshot there's a wall where there isn't for the 24hs... thanks So, no chance to run this in 32bit then I guess.
