[WIP] Monterey Laguna LIDAR

The first three USA tracks I knew (of course ages ago :D) were Indy, Sebring and Laguna Seca.
I remember me to some unbelievable exciting races in Laguna Seca.
I hope you find the time to finish this project.
It would be awesome to have this track made by you :)
 
You probably already know but Laguna Seca is one of several tracks that Google have driven round and done streetview on so you have a full 360 degree camera all around the track.
It is a few years old now and in no way high definition but very handy none the less.

Interesting you've used lidar data, looking forward to giving it a try

( although I think the track has been resurfaced so it'll be different from the lasted scanned version I'm very we too)

Would love to have a walk around it too


P.s do you mind me asking where you acquired the pirate data & if it's available for the other tracks ?
 
I have this race track already loved on the PS with GT. I look forward to experience this fantastic work live in the future. It is sure worth more than a thank you in advance. :)

Great stuff Mario. The landscape looks fantastic and the track mesh is spot on!
 
I have quite a bit of time on Laguna. You get a big thumbs up from me based on first impressions. Well done. Keep up the good work Mario.
