Mod r8 gordini version beta released

:) whenever I see the title of this thread, a Sexy Renault GT3 type car comes to mind. Then I open it up and smack my forehead...oh yeah..the family sedan.
 
Why "R8 Gordini" makes you think about a Renault GT3??
I don't know. Just the name I guess. Sounds fast, R8 like the various Audi R8's. Gordini....to a Yank that is hot sounding. Not a Family truckster or SUV.

I know it's not a homologated GT3, but it could have been if they detuned it. :) That was the car my old-fart brain kept bringing up.!!!

As for that link, that mod is not what I look for in rF2... It's more of a joke.

Fixed:
- Replaced sidemirror body with a new 3d mesh in higher details.
- Fixed floating wheels in showroom.
- Fixed/added nightlight in dashes.
- Fixed rpm warning LED
- Sorta fixed slow AI start, made the clutch and autoclutch slower.
- Limited rear camber to -1.8, to give the car a more natural feel and less rear grip.


Added:
- Rearranged all liveries to subcategories.
- Added a few Copa TS nacional liveries.
- Added filters to choose between subcategories.
- Added some details to dash.


Todo in future:
- Small error bodyA mesh window
- Adding interior details


Bug:
- Overheating LED false color.(works in ModDev!)
* Not really a bug, but cars with headlight cover wont have headlight flares.

For others to contribute if you're interested:
- Animated arms
- Quicker tirewear without comprimise current tirefeel.

There may be a class naming conflict. When selecting R8 in the oponent filter I get with a bunch of Audi R8 GT3 cars in the field.
 
Hello, I'm discovering this car!
2 things that I find annoying, it holds too much of the rear (normally, if you lift the accelerator when entering a bend, the rear should go!!) and the engine sound is unpleasant towards the high revs, it is like it is doubled by a second sound (I don't know if I'm clear!)

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Just so I understand your point, you feel the rear have too much grip into turns while deaccelerating? Or are you talking about it needs more engine braking?
About sounds, I'm not that good at doing sounds, so I have kept the original sounds of the mod, and yes the highest rpm sound file do have some loop issues if I remember correctly ( its a couple of months since last time I took it for a spin). But I will look into it, and also check to see if I have made an error and made two sounds playing at once.

yes, the rear has too much grip! The car is high and the best-known characteristic of these cars (well, most of them with the rear engine overhung!) is the ease with which the rear starts to slide (and not just when decelerating!!).
You could take the R8 or Alpine in RF1 as an example, I think they're right! or maybe AC too!;)
