no no NO! This is a glimpse of the past. FUN. There is a new modern version coming let THAT one be your Baby GT3. But keep this as simple and plain as possible. Just like it was back in the day.(& I'm not even an old Brit. Just old.) Sure hope they include copious amounts of exhaust smoke!

i think he was being sarcastic, on how modern sim racers don't want to drive anything that is old, difficult and lack tc and abs.
 
So great ! Proper surprise, breaking out of what has been nearly exclusively modern racecars in each release for so long.

A great choice, it should become one of favorites for online racing for many simracers. Cant wait to experience how it drives with those tiny wheels and all of its one of a kind physics. I wonder how did S397 solved this tire, as its very different to what has been usual.

Also now clutch and such stuff is relevant again, it is a very very good thing.
 
Very refreshing to see something like that finally in the game. I have no doubt it's gonna be one of the most fun to drive cars yet. Always appreciate some classics, so I very much look forward to this Mini.

Finaly a car with a soul get's released, a car that will be bloody brilliant around twisty tracks like Targa Florio. That was a fantastic combo with the HistorX mod in rF1. For me the current crop of GT cars are decent but they all kind of feel same-ish and as they are in allmost every modern game and boped to death, it's a nice surprise to get a car with some personality. It's also great to see that there will be a great selection of skins available. I didn't expect this car to be in the content drop for Q3 but this car alone makes it well worth. Throughout the year the content offerings have been fantastic to say the least. Everything fits perfectly, offers focus and makes sense. Well done.
 
Maybe the naysayers here don't realise that driving a 'slow' car fast is more fun than driving a fast car slow. Hell, driving a slow car fast is pretty much more fun than driving a fast car fast!

These types of cars are very fun to drive in rF2 because they don't feel like a planted brick like in most other games, you really feel the dynamics of the physics engine as everything bounces around a bit.
We've had modern racecar content drops for years, I hope things keep moving in this direction... All figures crossed that more historic content is planned for the future.
