here's one for tomorrow! I'll add for completeness that the short angled white lines/stripes along the pitlane are where the cars are positioned for the old-style Le Mans start. Also for the couple of years when they stopped the running component (as seen in the movie), and before they switched to rolling starts. The car's centre-line is aligned with the stripes, not between the stripes like in a car park. Le Grand Circuit 1967 uses the stationary angled start
Only one person has ever asked for this, and it was about 8 years ago. But I wanted it too, and there is now a disproportionate weight off my shoulders. It's the Longford railway station! Considering it's about 50m away from the road edge in an area most people don't look, I tried to go easy on the details. For anyone who likes to do sick jumps with at least three feet of air off the platform ramps, i'm sorry. But also, a car can still fit either side of the posts I will not be making any trains. [edit: any statements relating to trains may or may not remain accurate]
That looks great mate. A moving train would be the bees knees, not much trouble I would not have thought... LOL
So after the update we can drive around again and looking for all the beautiful and lovely details on and offside the track
well, now that you put it like that... but yeah, nah. Tasman Limited X-Class diesel + carriages if anyone is interested in doing a low poly but good quality rendition (you see all those wheels and suspension and whatever else the black bits are? they DO NOT need to be polygons ) http://users.nex.net.au/~reidgck/tasmnltd.htm http://geoffsrailpix.com/apr1965tas.html I think there is probably actually one plus a carriage or two in the Tasmanian Transport Museum http://www.railtasmania.com/ttms/
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!! woochoo.. I was spending time on Le Grand Circuit before Le Mans weekend. If only S397 could animate drivers running to their cars - using the arrow keys to pump their legs.
