    Your encouragement is a great stimulus guys.

    I forgot to insert the night lights on the list... one more buch of tasks to do. The track is with no trees and no light, unable to race at night yet.

    Oooo that luminescence will rock! Like Jacksonville's Sunoco signs at night, super sweet.

    Yes, there's a shader called "High Luminescence Sun" or something, I'll use it a lot.

    One more grandstand done, just 2 to go.

    I'm bit concerned about transparencies. A single batch of trees steals more than 20 fps. Using chroma, but even so...

    Well, it's only 4%? Yeah, I know, enough 4% occurences and you're into 80% territory pretty quickly!

    On Brookdale I have over 30 000 invidual billboarded (chroma transparent) spectators on grandstands. I don't think you will have any major performance problems in the end, if you manage your video memory usage of your track.

    Wow, 30.000 BBs are 120.000 vertexes, good to know they're not very demanding.

    I'm using several 2048 px textures, let's see... I'm in the end of trees planting, just one more grandstand to go and then AIW.

    I don't know how you use to work but I think you should not worry about optimization. When I'm modding I do almost every texture in 4096px and only optimize that in the end. Same thing for mesh. Decrease detail its easier than increase in my POV.

    First i thought, 20fps is quite much. (I had my own rF2 in mind, usually running with about 90-100fps)

    Then i saw the 550fps vs. 571fps .... ;)

    so happy to see french tracks coming (bugatti and nogaro)

    still missing a convert for ledenon paul ricard and val de vienne

    maybe with the future flat6 series coming on french carrera cup ?

    Thank you guys, I'm trying to manage my working hours in this end of year.

    All geometry is OK, now I'm doing the AIW file. Not very easy to create a decent and competitive AI cars file, but I'll do my best.
