Curious about the bumpiness which was mentioned in the stream. How you liking the eye candy in general? Night atmosphere nicely replicated?

Thank you Alex! I went and googled it a bit and I think they are old and sturdy plane trees. They are actually protected as well so couldn't be altered or cut down after Simonsen's accident. Here's an article with some nice close ups (in the winter though):

In my humble opinion, I prefer that the track is late, but without errors, that the trees are correct, that the textures are of good quality and so on ...:)

Agreed mentioned it above already, but I also hope for that magical night atmosphere with all the different lights and colors around the track:

Wouldn't be the first time S397 released an incomplete product. Trees? Yeah lets do a vote:
    1. Wait for the trees to be fixed(i.e. redrawn a little in the background that has absolutelyfreeakin' nothing to do with the racing)
    2. Release the dang thing, post an update at a later date with...redrawn trees that have absolutelyfreakin'Nuthin'todo with the racing)
    3. Give up

So don't put anything outside the fences?

@davehenrie Sorry, misinterpreted that. Please disregard.

@2ndLastJedi We can't say for sure that things will never be fixed, fixing is still a lot faster than creating from scratch. No doubt progress in this area has been slow in the past though.

Problem is , the list of things that need updating keeps growing to a point where not everything will be updated :(

There ARE things outside the fences...they are drawn to resemble trees. Apparently they do not resemble trees enough. I'm all in for this....pull this release. Don't let it see the light of day until everyfreeakin'leaf is correctly positioned. I'll admire them fully as I zoom on by in my pathetically slow personal style. We'd better start counting just how many trees are scattered around Nords...can't have any of those inappropriately rendered as a Beech instead of a Poplar. This is a great idea, think how much time the team will have to finish all those little niggles like AI pitting for rains, or damage getting fixed only after the 2nd online driver swaps in. Keep reworking those trees boys!
    Should I mention the g.....naw....
