That would be neat, after the weekend the hype is gone a bit.
the qualifiying starts yesterday on lemans
the track should be released until saturday, otherwise the hype will be out and i am going to wait for nords which includes the gp layout and not far away either.
Probably, studio397 knows it, But I went to Le Mans Yesterday, and saw Total and Michelin had simulators in their stand. They were using Rfactor2 for both of them
pics will be decent if you had taken any..
Saw a video on twitter of Total, someone put a link on discord. Saw rf2 but couldn’t tell the track. Wasnt any obvious landmarks on the screen.
Good to see rf2 being used. Surely release cant be far off
-work to come on AI after the UI *possibly maybe. code work to be done on ai.
-Leman same price as sebring roughly
-nothing on safety car yet. Marcel will need to be shown issues.
-ambient temps affecting physics to come after UI.
-bop adjustments to endurance pack
-nothing planned for gt3
-leman possibly this weekend nords a month away
Are you getting these from somewhere else, or just summarising what's been said in the roadmap and thread?
@billyblaze below, thanks
@Lazza...Race Department had an interview and LeMans test drive stream today...
Just listened to the interview and i'm pretty satisfied with what has been said. I'm still aiming for full 397/rFactor2 support
During the Interview on twitch the RaceDepartment interviewer suggested that there was going to be a much longer interview with Marcel. Did that happen? If so is it on Youtube or Twitch?
Soon tm. https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/rf2-the-big-interview-submit-your-questions-here.169341/
Marcel got question list already.
Im hoping that someone asked if S397 imagined the new Competition infrastructure to be the beginnings of a system that will end up being a direct competitor to iracing
I think its pointless question now.
Sorry I fell asleep. As I was watching and writing the minutes of the stream. That was out of tiredness not boredom.
I am simply hoping that the question gets asked in the interview.
If I understood correctly from the stream, it was mentioned that there’s still a pending approval needed before actual Le Mans release. Fingers crossed since the track looks pretty much done.
Looking at the stream the trees at Tertre Rouge are not correct, they are a well know sight and have way thicker trunks than this. You can't use a generic tree there and copy- paste IMO:
Fence is much higher in todays race than on last photo.
The track is an 2018 version...
Yes but that last pic is to show which trees you have there. Screenie from today's race shows them clearly as well:
Separate names with a comma.
