Just curious. Why so much time in practice session in online races?

It's frustrating when you leave game for a while after many practice or quali laps, and when you're away, they vote straight to race. And you miss the race

rF2 should have an app that tells you when it's time to race. A litte "pling" in your pocket. lol. That would be something.

 

For open servers communication is the key. If you can't communicate with the other drivers to decide when to flip to the race, they will likely do things like vote to race while you are away. It doesn't hurt to ask others how long they want to practice so you have an idea when they will likely vote for the next session.
