Who is testing the builds, is there a specific team or is it a one man show ?

 

I believe for Forza 3 or 4 they had a team of 500 people, excluding outsourcing even. There's just no point in comparing, but the general public is clueless after all.

 

There's a team. We conduct US tests and Euro tests usually the next day after each build. And when there's a release close, like now, there can be a build and a test every day. Then obviously between those tests, testers are still able to run it themselves.

 

I hope it makes fun.

well over 300 still have another week of testing till a possible release date.

 

ARGG I was so hoping I'd get my hands on the new build before I have to go back to work next week.

@Mallorcavende Unfortunately this weeks build did not pass testing.


so is it this weeks build, as in week of the 19th-23rd? or it's a no go for this week too? Not quite sure what he means by answering it did not pass testing on the last day of the week? Would the answer to be it isn't coming out on the week of 19-23rd like on the 19th, not the 23? lol yeesh. No matter to me, just lacking clarification is all, it is not the 1st time

 

Max, normally, this weeks build would be released next week. But it's possible for a build with an issue to be fixed, tested, and get released within the same week. In the end, it's up to Jeremy, but he's going to try to avoid releasing something with the issues the build had.

Hmmm.... ? The fun thing you could not confirm but if you are not going to release something this week, may you get a application.

 

Testers are supposed to run the game repeatedly with every vehicle and track, with different settings, and not just joy riding. It's a lot of work going around looking for bugs, glitches, and things to be improved. And that's not even talking about the feedback on the car handling aspect. I already test elsewhere and while it'd be nice to be able to provide direct input to ISI I just think it's so much work I couldn't do it properly to either ISI or the other place, if I was to split my time.
