Indianapolis Motor Speedway - release v0.1

Hi

This is my version of the '95 Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I may add later a 60's version, and a 80's with the apron.


Two components : the track, and the most important one, the voice of Jack Arute.

Nice start jpalesi... good to see another track making it`s way to rf2.

Hope someone can help out with your problems. :)
 
Can't wait for this! I used to live in Speedway, Indiana @ 5 blocks from the Brickyard.
I did notice that in the pic of the spotters in the short chute before T2, the fans are all facing away from the track.
You probably already know but thought I would throw it out there.
It looks great..can't wait to drive it

Thank you Mario, I'll surely try your tools ;) Although the problem with the trees was a brain fade :o

Lucky Craig ! The crowd is in 2D and 2 sided, what you're seeing in this picture is the same texture you'd see from the front of the grand stand (if I understood correctly your report).

I mean that you need to work in the trees,textures,grass.....the basic is good though!

I got 'er done. Seeded to three others and leechers dried up. Now I'm off to look at it. (I might even do a lap) --- of course I'll do a lap!

This is pretty good for starters, good one to get!
Sure wasn't expecting RealRoad already.
Not much excitement from AI, guess I will have to join in on the "SlapFest".
Knowing its not finished, my biggest suggestion for starters is the track texture, at certain speeds, track texture is strange (repeating texture really pops out----don't know how else to explain it).
Really tho, it's great for a different venue than what we have so far. Besides - I like Indy!

The commentary while in the garage is a new thing-- Gordon's stuck throttle didn't take too long to memorize tho. Interesting diversion!
 
I never had a problem with a rF track or bigger fields.

Indy though I have hiccups and few freezes when running the dedicated server and using alt-tab.

Otherwise it is fine.
